Hey hey! Happiest second Tuesday of 2020! This year has already been off to a crazy start. We slowed WAY down during the Christmas holiday (work-wise) but jumped right back into all of the things with a vengeance last Monday morning. One big thing Britt has taught me is that rest is just as important as work. I have never met anyone that can run a million miles an hour and balance all of the things while at the same time having the capacity to fully take a break and be intentional about family time and rest. I swear it’s one of her super powers.
Tiny little house update… Things are rolling right along and we will have fun updates on that SOON. I am meeting the painters out there this week and I couldn’t be more excited! Mechanicals should be starting here in the next couple of weeks and the final grade on the yard is scheduled for next Monday. Stay tuned!
Today I am bringing some fun work outfits to the blog. In the midst of a global pandemic, coming out of the holidays, and the beginning of a new year… I felt like I needed to update the “work” side of my closet. When I first started my career as a realtor, almost three years ago now, I was so annoyed by how hard it was to find work clothes. I felt like everything either fit super weird or was super expensive. I am constantly trying to marry comfort and fashion at an affordable price and I’m happy to say that all of these pieces pass the test.
Leggings / Button Down / Tank / Mules
This button down is my new favorite. It is longer in the back which makes for the perfect legging top. I have it paired with my Spanx leggings but it would work well with even a simple black pair. It comes in a bunch of great colors and the material is super nice.
Jacket / Cami / Joggers / Tennis Shoes
If you have been around AW for a minute than you know how much we love a good cami. This camisole has seen all of the things, from business meetings to movie nights. It is so easy to dress up or down and just an all around great basic for your closet.
I snagged this blazer last minute and I am SO glad I did. Another easy piece to dress up or down. I think it would even be super cute with jeans and a tee or a dress. They have it in a couple of different patterns too, including black, if plaid isn’t your thing.
Cami / Skirt / Mules / Jacket
THIS SKIRT. I had zero faith in actually liking this skirt because it was only $18.99 but I am obsessed! The design is incredibly flattering and the material is super nice. I will definitely be grabbing a few of the other colors.
Button Down / Pants / Mules / Long Sleeve / Boots
If you have been looking for a pair of cozy work pants look no further!! These pants come in just about every color/pattern known to man and they are SO comfortable. They could easily be tossed on with a sweater and tennis shoes to be dressed down or pumps to be dressed up.
Pants / Boots
