Wall Sconce / Water Carafe / Nightstand / Bedding / Bed Frame
It’s FriDAYYY! Kind of feels like Monday and kind of feels like Saturday! After a late start to the week after my kidney stent removal Monday and then a go-go-go schedule the last three days, I’m a bit day confused. Plus, we are heading to the airport early this afternoon to pick up our French exchange student Caroline so it’s a bit of a half day today! Having said all of that, I am SOOOOO excited and ready for the weekend! For one, I am still a but sluggish post surgery so it’ll be nice to take a few days off the work hustle. And for two, three and four, we are THRILLED to be hosting Caroline once again… we are always so happy when we have all four kiddos for the weekend… AND we have some close friends spending the weekend with us as well!
Today I am sharing some fun little “extra” things we did yesterday in our guest bedroom for Caroline. Yes, not necessary, but I always love doing little things to cozy up a space and to make someone feel welcome in our home. It’s kind of my favorite!
First up, I found the most adorable battery operated sconces that I thought would be the perfect touch in this floral on floral bedroom. Not to mention that it would also free up nightstand space for a few more pretty things! And since I did also get a bigger nightstand that I LOVE, I added this gorgeous vintage water carafe that is the cutest bedside touch!

From there I added our favorite cozy sheets and comfiest down pillows which you cannot super see here as well as THE SOFTEST sherpa tassel blanket you’ve ever felt! Now we all want our own!

The of course I had to add a candle warmer since those are our new favorite…

Plus, a few new pretty things at the little desk area including this beautiful ruffle pillow which is the same (but in a lumbar size and in a different color) as the ones we have in our France bedroom…
