Good afternoon friends! Just got home after almost a week at John’s house and the cabin and it feels so dang good. I love bopping around to here, there and everywhere but sometimes it’s just nice to be in my own home and to go to sleep in my own bed. For a few days at least! This morning the girlies and I loaded up and right before we left I snapped a few pictures to give y’all a little update. In some ways I feel like we have gotten sooooo much done but then in others I feel like I have a million and one things left to do. The paint of course made a HUGE difference! And slowly but surely we are getting light fixtures replaced and furniture delivered. And of course as we get more and more done, I will be sharing it all right here and on my IG stories! I will source everything below each image and all of the paint colors are at the bottom of this post! Oh and I will also share some things I have ordered that will be coming in soon!

Well, before I share let me share a peek at the little “mood board” collage thing I did on my phone to envision my design plan for the living room. After creating this I found this gorgeous rug at the Anthropologie outlet so I stuck it in here until the other one arrives. I am 50/50 now on which one I want to use in here! If I do the pink one, I’ll do a fun fur skin rug in the middle with a large coffee table so it’ll just be peeks of the pink. It is such a soft rug too!

P.S. the lighting edit on these crappy iPhone pictures makes these cabinets look waaaay bluer and the doors waaaay greener! The cabinets will be much more black! It’s the same color as the upstairs loft. Appliances, new cabinet door fronts and the tile are arriving SOON!
