A Little Life Update & A Huge Fall/Winter Fashion Haul…

Good morning! Happy Friday!!!! One short week until Thanksgiving week and seven days until we leave for the BEACH! I could not possibly be one ounce more excited. Life has been busy busy so it will be so incredibly nice to get away for a bit. I feel like it’s been a little bit since I have done a brief little life update so here we go… First, the girlies and I are doing wonderful. They’re my precious not-so-little-anymore angels that keep me busy, keep me smiling and keep me on my toes… particularly Winnie on that one! Winnie is now cast-free as of last week thank GOODNESS. Whew that was a lot! I have a newfound respect for all of the parents out there bathing and dressing little ones in casts. Not easy whatsoever. They only cast her elbow for four weeks to avoid atrophy so although she is cast-free, she is still healing. Just soooo glad she got it off before the beach though! Next, John and I… he’s so wonderful and we are doing so wonderful and I am continuously so very thankful. I think precious is the word that sums him up best. Gentle and kind and selfless and honest and loving. Things are moving along for us in lots of exciting ways. More on that soon! Next up, John’s dining room… I can’t say why just yet but it’s a no-go. I literally have everything for it sitting in my garage and hallway but something wonderful and unexpected happened and that project is no more. I will just say that for now :). House offer… next on the list is an update on a house I put an offer on sight unseen last Friday. It is also a no-go. Booooo! I literally jumped right on it because it is a PRECIOUS cabin and would be such a fun project and investment property but I guess someone else thought the same and swooped in just above my offer. I do have a back-up offer signed and in place so we shall see! And finally, Camp Wonderland… I guess it isn’t the “finally” on the list because we have a million and one things going on behind the scenes but it’s the one I am asked about most often. Camp Wonderland is still a thing and something we are still working on but it’s a BIG project and requires jumping through LOTS of zoning hurdles and such so it’ll happen. One of these days…

Today I am sharing a HUGE Walmart fashion haul! Over the last couple of years, I have seriously become more and more hooked on Walmart.com Some of the pieces in my closet I wear most are from Walmart including THESE JEANS I’ve been raving about since last Summer and THIS SWEATER I am asked about quite often on IG stories. They have some really great new-ish brands from Sofia Vergara to Time & Tru… two of my personal faves. I of course also love that Walmart has such great prices along with fast and free shipping over $35. I got a TON this time! Here are my faves and my reviews…

Cardigan / Body Suit / Jeans / Booties

Starting with my favorite! I LOVE every single piece of this outfit. First, I am all about a cute bodysuit. I figured out recently that sizing up fixes any long torso, bodysuit wedgie issues, LOL, so I got a medium and it’s perfect! I love the lace detailing and the fit. Perfect for layering or “tucked into” a skirt. I ended up actually getting three bodysuits and I love them all! They’re all pictured and linked below. These jeans are a huge fave. I shared them last Summer and have been raving about them ever since. I always size down in jeans. And then this cardigan… I LOVE IT!!! It’s lightweight and soft and a very flattering fit. I love the length too! And lastly, these booties! I am soooo picky about shoes and I LOVE THESE!

Dress

If you’re looking for a beautiful dress for the Holidays or even family pictures, this one is really pretty! It does run big so I returned mine for a smaller size. It would be cute belted too!

Top / Jeans

Okay I know… I overkill the off shoulder tops but I love them! This sweater is off shoulder to the extreme. It is sooo pretty though and sooo flattering! They didn’t have a Small in stock so I got an XS and it fits great! So I would maybe say it runs a tad big. The one sleeve is a balloon style and it’s super cute. The material is very very soft as well. AND… THESE JEANS!!! I am also super picky about jeans, particularly cropped and high waisted ones, but I really loved these. They fit perfect and are the perfect cropped length and perfect waist height in my opinion. I think they run TTS.

Top / Pants

If you like cords, these are PRECIOUS! Such a fun color for Fall and Winter and they’re a great fit! They’re slightly cropped and fairly high waisted. I think they run TTS. Also, this top is a great simple basic to pair with pretty much anything. It has a cute rippled detail on the collar and sleeves. Mine is a small and I think it runs TTS.

Sweater / Jeans / Booties

Yep, another adorable off shoulder sweater. Sometimes I just order sweaters oversized to make them off shoulder but this one is a true off shoulder style/fit. It comes in light grey as well. It’s very cozy and very well made! I am wearing a Small and I think it runs TTS. Oh and these jeans are cute but not my personal faves. They are the same brand and fit as the ones I raved about above but they’re very high waisted. A little too high waisted for me personally. Just being honest :)!

Jumpsuit

OMG I loooove this jumpsuit!!! It is soooo cozy and I think I’ve worn it five times already! I paired it with the pink cardigan above the other day to run errands. Love it! Runs TTS and I am wearing a size Small.

Hoodie / Joggers

The. Coziest. Sweatsuit. Each piece is adorable alone or worn as an outfit. I have worn the pants with several different tops now. Runs TTS and I am wearing a Small in both!
