Happy Fridayyyyyyy!!! I almost just wrote “Happy Memorial Day” out of habit of always starting my blog posts with a “happy” something and I remembered a long chat I had last year with a dear friend who had recently lost her husband to a combat injury. She said that she’s never felt “Happy Memorial Day” to be the best way to celebrate and honor the Holiday. So I wish everyone a VERY Blessed Memorial Day this weekend! Thinking of those who’ve served and those who’ve lost loved ones in the service. And particularly one of my dearest friends who lost her precious husband last Fall after a ten year battle with a brain injury suffered in combat.
This Memorial Day weekend will be spent at my newest home renovation project… Winnie’s Woodsy Wonderland! Excited to have a new project to dive into and excited to finally be using my sweet Winnie’s name in something associated with my business as well! Today as you are reading this post, I am actually closing on and “moving into” my new North Georgia cabin. I am hoping to finish it up before the end of Summer and have it on the rental market for everyone to HOPEFULLY enjoy once all of this craziness has subsided. So stay tuned for lots and lots of reno updates!
Today I am sharing a little Summer fun amidst a not-so-normal start to Summer. As a Georgia girl, I am excited to report that things have been slowly opening up around here and so far so good! Which gives me so so much hope that we will all get to wear all of these fun Summery finds in the very near future. Fingers crossed!
As I have been sharing almost monthly for almost the last year now, I am back with another round of ADORABLE Walmart fashion finds. Seriously every single time I get a new delivery from Walmart.com, I am more and more impressed with their selection, the quality and the styles they offer. I have quite a few Walmart pieces that have become weekly staples in my closet! I think several of the cute things in this post will soon be as well! Here’s a peek at my newest Walmart haul for SUMMER…
This Skirt is sooooooo cute! I absolutely love wearing flowy skirts and dresses all Summer long. This one is the teeniest bit see through with a dark shirt tucked in FYI! I am wearing a size small and I think it runs true to size.
This Dress is one of my FAVES from this post! I liked it sooooo much better in person! Would be really cute belted too. I think it runs a tad big and mine is a size small.
I am OBSESSED with this Skirt! It fits so so good and it is a great length! I love when skirts aren’t too mini but still above the knee. The detailing on it is so cute as well. Mine is a size 4 and I think it runs pretty true to size.
This Romper is the cutest! Very loose and cozy. Would be really cute belted as well! I am wearing a size small and I thin k it runs a little big!
These are the PERFECT fitting not-so-short Shorts! They fit like a glove and are short but definitely not booty shorts! LOL.They have a really cute distressing detail as well!
These Cropped Jeans are so vintage and fun! They’re Jordache Vintage and have the cutest fit. I do think they run pretty small! I am wearing a size 26.
