Bell Sleeved Sweater and Cozy Bootie Faves for Fall…
Happy Tuesday! First, let’s take a second and celebrate! Drumroll please… The high in Georgia today is 69 and the low is 44. FINALLY sweater weather!!! And finally an entire day without sweat dripping down my back weather. Okay not really but almost. Seriously. I think it has been sweltering since about March. Who knows what next week will bring but today we are all celebrating! I spent last weekend with my girls, my mom and my niece at our cabin in North Georgia. With a fun Fall festival on Saturday and two chilly mornings in a row, it was the perfect mountain weekend. My sister was out of town with her hubby so we got to snuggle my three month old squishy little niece for almost three full days. It alllllllmost made me want another one. Until it took two hours and a million things just to get out the door each time. It’s amazing how you totally forget about all of that once your own kiddos are well past diaper bag age. As far as other Hayes family updates, we have quite a few… First, we are already almost completely finished demo’ing our new flip home that I chatted about last well. You can get all caught up on that on my last post. We will call it “The Highland House”. So the Highland House is one week in and almost completely cleared out! Three huge roll-off dumpsters later… We are also getting ready to start the renovations on our cabin as well! They will begin installation on all of the flooring soon. I am SOOOOO excited to get going on that one as well!
So now that you are all caught up, let’s chat about Fall fashion faves from Nordstrom! That was just two of my favorite things in one sentence… Fall & Nordstrom. Now more than ever with so much going on, I need clothing that is not only cute but also very comfortable and functional. Outfits I can wear running errands, working from home, picking up the kids and then carting them around to afternoon activities. That is where sweaters and jeans come in handy! They are super easy to dress up a little with a necklace, cute clutch and fancy shoes OR I can throw on the foldable flats I keep in my car for popping in on jobsites.

I found this super cute oversized bell sleeve sweater online and had to give it a try at just $39! It comes in several other colors and is way cuter and cozier than it looked online! I love that it isn’t too thick to be front tucked and of course can also be worn out over pants as well. This has been my favorite color for Fall this year! Although it mentioned sizing down, I ordered a small for a more oversized fit.

Next up are these cute ripped jeans. I didn’t even realize they had the cute side detail until I received them and I love it! I think the dark lines slim down your legs some which never hurts! I also love that you can’t see my pale legs through the distressed sections. LOL! Add these to my favorite jean list for sure!

For shoes and accessories, I have been finding myself going a little more neutral for Fall this year. And yes, I do consider leopard to be a neutral! These booties have the most darling bow detail on the size and they are VERY comfortable. Sometimes I find that shoes take a wear or two to be cozy but these were comfortable the first day! And finally, this clutch is the perfect size to fit a good bit but not so huge that it gets heavy to lug around. I have been loving this size clutch lately!
