Yes friends, I am devoting an entire blog post to JUST ONE BRA. No, I have not become crazy desperate for content… it just really is that good!!! For the last several months, I have been raving on Instagram Stories about a strapless bra that I discovered and have been wearing the heck out of! I never really blogged about it in particular or shared it on Facebook but I always mention it when I am wearing off-the-shoulder tops or camis so I keep getting messages from people asking about it again. So, I decided to write an entire blog post about one bra and let you guys in on a little secret about the most comfortable and supportive strapless bra EVER! Life. Changing.
Let’s get real ladies… wearing a strapless bra is usually the absolute worst life decision ever. You have the cutest one shoulder or strapless top and after you ignore the persistent thoughts of just tucking under a strap or two on your regular, cozy bra, you put on the dreaded strapless. With not even one foot out the door, you have already pulled it up from your belly button seven times and you are ready to re-think your entire existence. That may sound a wee but dramatic but that basically describes the last 36 years of my life.
Several months ago for some crazy reason I decided to do a little bra research. I had so many cute new off-the-shoulder tops and I was so over the 45 strapless bras in my closet that all either fell down every five seconds, created two extra boobs or made me look like I had the chest of a 105 year old. Yes, being over dramatic once again. I jotted down bras from numerous sites that claimed to be THE BEST strapless bra and I ordered twelve of them. Not even kidding. I tested them all out and ended up immediately returning eleven. Out of the twelve I ordered, I didn’t even kind of like any except for the one that I am now OBSESSED with. I am rather large chested-ish so finding something supportive AND comfortable has always seemed an impossible task. But I am telling y’all! To me, this bra is THE BEST!!! I literally went from never ever wanting to wear a strapless to now actually preferring this one over my regular bra! I even wore it for several super long work days in Montana working on Dream Home. It is that cozy!
A few quick tips… I found it super helpful to do THIS FIT FINDER to get a better idea of my correct size. I have THIS CLASSIC T-SHIRT BRA from this same “fit finder” company and it has become my cozy everyday bra. Although I am in the market for a new one to share too! Once I did the fit finder I ended up sizing DOWN one size on the band size to ensure it is a good, tight fit for my strapless bra. I did go with the same cup size I found from that fit finder and it was a perfect fit! For the record, upon taking that fit finder, I did discover my cup size has been waaaay off basically my entire life and that has made a huge difference in fit as well!
