… Stay Together 😉 Hehe okay not really but I sure do love it when we find time to exercise together. It keeps me motivated and gives me someone to chat with. And guess what?!? Mark can finally run again!!! Four months post-ACL surgery and he has finally been released to do some light jogging and exercising. Just in time for warmer weather and… swimsuit season. Ugh. One of our favorite things to do these days is walk, and now jog, our beautiful historic neighborhood…

As you well know I LOVE Nordstrom. I shop there a lot… okay, a TON and I literally find everything our family could ever want from dresses to jeans to activewear. And what I love most is that shipping is free and they make returning anything that we don’t love or doesn’t fit SO super easy! So when Mark told me he was released to exercise, I decided to surprise him with some new activewear outfits and tennis shoes. And I MIGHT have gotten myself several newbies as well 😉
I learned quite a few years ago that the way to Mark’s heart is affection, food and shoes. Yes, he is a bigger shoe freak than I am. Like by a mile. So when I saw that Nordstrom had some matchy matchy men’s/women’s Nike knit tennis shoes, I just HAD to get him some! I loved the white for me and then gray usually works best for him. He always says he matches his shoes to granite dust since that is what he is trekking through most. And let me tell you, these shoes are SOOO comfortable!

Yesterday afternoon we went on a run for literally the very first time in over four months and it was so gorgeous outside! Since we live in a busy little neighborhood and see at least a dozen people we know every time we are out, it’s always fun to look cute 😉 I found sooo many pieces I loved for Mark. I ended up finding two activewear outfits for him. This grey tee is a Nike Dry Knit Running Tee which fits great and also stays dry since guys always seem to sweat a ton. It seems like such great quality too. Like one of those pieces that would last forever! I chose to pair it with the Under Armour Training Shorts because they are a moisture wicking fabric that stays cool and dry. Our sweet Addie snapped these pictures of us and did such a great job! A little photographer in the making!
Oh and don’t forget ladies! Father’s Day is right around the corner!!!

For the second outfit I surprised him with, I chose this Under Armour Tee in Royal Blue because he always looks extra handsome in blue 😉 I paired it with these Under Armour Running Shorts because they were honestly just kind of cool looking. The print is rather fabulous. I am one lucky girl 🙂
