Good evening! Coming to y’all this Sunday evening with a fun, easy way to warm up your kitchen. To me, accessorizing is always that final touch that not only brings things together, but also creates a warmth that makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay awhile…
Although we’d had a pot rail over our stove for a few years now, it had become a bit neglected to say the least. The rail was getting more and more bent/warped from the heavy marble cutting board we’d had hanging for some time and I hadn’t hung more than that and a pot or two in a few years. The fun factor potential was killing me so I decided to replace the rail with a more sturdy brass one and really accessorize it up with a few new things as well as some everyday items we use often.
One thing about these rails is that although they are often thought of as something you hang over a stove, you can actually hang them most anywhere in the kitchen! Almost any backsplash spot, a side wall or even over a console. I actually love when people double them up and hang tons of pots and pans! There was a wall in the kitchen where we did our Italy cooking class last Summer that had three super long ones with an absolute ton of copper pots and it was stunning!
P.S. If you are worried about things getting dirty over your stove, simply hang items you use often and they’ll make their way through the cleaning cycle quite a bit!
