Feels like HOME 💗 I know so many feel relaxed and at home with lots of layered neutrals while I’m kind of the exact opposite. There’s just something about the layering of colors and patterns and textures that feels like home to me. Like walking inside houses from my favorite childhood movies like Home Alone with their wallpapered foyers and rich colored velvety drapery that just make me want to kick my shoes off and stay awhile 💗 One of my dearest friends who’s since passed away said that about my home and my style several years ago and it’s something I’ll never forget. Something I strive for now in every design… a beautiful house that also makes you want to kick your shoes off… stay awhile… and makes everyone feel at HOME 💗💗💗

Who is this girl?!? 😉 #ad John busted out this gorgeous headboard last week while I was recovering from surgery from all of the extra pallets we have at our brick and mortar store. Can’t believe we are already almost done with son (stepson)’s room number TWO 🖤 John and I are sporting some cute new @walmartfashion finds too! Our new life routine has officially begun ❤️ A

Our new life routine has officially begun ❤️ And throw in a last minute surgery this week! 😭 With a new hubby in the house and two bonus sons here every other school week, our front door just started revolving at triple speed! Winnie is doing cheer, basketball and HipHop, Addie may do swim, Zach does football and lacrosse and Austin plays lacrosse as well. Whew! Last week I ordered our first @EveryPlate to get the craziness going a little easier and I’m so glad I did now that I’m out of commission. With recipes easy enough for the kiddos to cook, looks like I’ll have four of them to hit up for making me dinner 😉! We did it… one son/stepson’s room checked off

We did it… one son/stepson’s room checked off the list along with my very first boy’s room design 💙 One down and one to go in making this house OUR HOME for John and the boys. #ad Our goal was to have both boy’s rooms all completed and cozied up by Fall and we are halfway there! Zach gave me free reign for his space and my gosh it was such a blast to go to town with. From making my wood wall dreams a reality with that fun “little” DIY to furnishing it on a budget with @walmart, I am so proud of this space we created and OUR new home. Here’s a peek at every fun little nook in his room and I’ve linked it all right here… #WalmartHome
