Happy Thursday! Today has been a busy day already with Winter’s school Christmas party this morning and then a follow-up doctor’s appointment this afternoon. We found out last week that Winter may have asthma. It runs on both sides of our family and I’m so super bummed that she’s having to deal with that at just three years old. With a persistent cough for the last eight months, the pediatrician finally diagnosed it as possibly Variance Asthma. If any of my wonderful readers have any experience with this, I would LOVE to hear about it! I am not one to give my kid’s medicine or treatments of any kind any more than needed and her inhaler honestly makes me a little nervous. I am going to take her to an allergist soon to see if it could be any type of allergy causing the coughing instead. Nonetheless, I wanted to reach out to all of you to see if you’ve had any experience with these type of symptoms. She doesn’t wheeze and her cough is usually pretty dry. Sorry for all of the gory mommy details!
So last night, I FINALLY finished up decorating our Christmas tree! With a gold, silver, white and turquoise “theme”, I wrapped gold garland and white/burlap ribbon from HomeGoods around the tree for a simple yet beautiful Christmas tree. To create the ribbon effect, every two feet or so, I simply tucked the ribbon into the tree. In some places I even bent the smaller limbs around the garland to secure it into place. Then I sweet talked my handsome hubby, Mark into posing for me to show off some of my Holiday gift ideas! With just one week left until Christmas Day I know lots of you, like me, are probably scrambling to finish up those crazy lists. And for some reason, Mark is always the hardest person to buy for! He doesn’t want for much and usually if he does, he goes and purchases it himself. So I am sharing some of my favorite purchases from years past because he is in fact a loyal blog stalker so I don’t want to give this year’s ideas away. Although I am sharing one gift that I gave him a little early this year. He is a total watch freak. He never actually looks at the time on them because who needs a watch these days anyways. But he does LOVE a cool watch. Watches and shoes. Those are his two obsessions. So check out my last minute Holiday gift ideas, our just completed Christmas tree and my handsome hubs!
