Ever After Wonderland

Floral Wallpaper & Mint Green Cabin Bedroom Vibes… The Final Reveal!

Good afternoon! Happy Thursday! Sitting here with wet hair and half broken nails trying to finish up some work so I can go get ready for our trip to Austin, TX in the morning! So. Excited. To eat all the things and drink all the things and walk the Earth with my babe. John’s phrase is so cute that it has kind of stuck with me. He has always said “I just want to walk (or roam) the Earth forever with you”. So this weekend our Earth walking “begins” with our first weekend getaway. Obviously this is not our first trip whatsoever nor our first weekend getaway BUT we had decided late last year to make a little bucket list of cities and sights we’ve both been wanting to see that we could check off with some 3-4 day weekend getaways. I signed up for Scott’s Cheap Flights so we could snag cheap flights and then base our getaway schedule around what we can get from there. Our list is so random between the two of us and ranges from Keystone, SD for Mt. Rushmore (John) to San Juan Island, WA (me… been there before and dying to take John!) and Mill Run, PA for Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water (John again of course). Anyways… so off to Austin we go tomorrow and you can follow along over on IG stories!

Today I am sharing the final reveal of one of my very very very favorite rooms in the cabin… “the girl’s bedroom”! Well, that’s what it is when we go up as a family. This is definitely one of those designs that came together over time. Sometimes I can plan out an entire room design from day one and then sometimes the design comes together as I find things or in this case, install things such as this wallpaper. Yep, this room design began with finding this gorgeous wallpaper. I was craving something really traditional for this home that I could layer with a little AW whimsy and fun of course and this print just felt so right. From there I found these super fun spindle beds and I used this paint sprayer that we LOVE by the way to paint them Farrow & Ball’s Arsenic paint color. They turned out so fab!!! Here’s a peek at the room BEFORE and then TODAY!

ABOUT

Hi, I'm  Brittany

Addison's Wonderland began in 2011 as everything that I dreamed of for my daughter's room. I wanted to create a dreamy wonderland for her full of colors, patterns and precious details. Once her room was complete, Addison's Wonderland was born.
