This year we decided to get crazy and come up with the most creative birthday party theme ever… Frozen! Although I had about a million ideas in mind, Addison wanted to be Elsa and have a Frozen sleepover party so of course that’s exactly what she got. Many moons ago, I was the polar opposite of a procrastinator. I planned elaborate birthday parties months in advance and had a blast doing so. These days, my planning starts about 9 hours prior to party time. Of course the invites and cake were ordered in advance but I left everything else until the morning of. Insert crazy mom + amazing babysitting aunt + awesome house cleaning husband and the party actually got pulled together! My secret- Wal-Mart and the UPS Store… I saved the downloadable files you will see below from Pinterest onto my iPhone, e-mailed them to my local UPS Store with instructions to print in color on card stock and I popped by an hour later to pick them up!
Although I titled this post “Frozen Over”, it could have more appropriately been titled “Photo Overload” so I will apologize in advance. I did however take 263 pictures so I guess I am actually sparing you about 237. Anyways, it turned out so great and the girls had such a blast! We started the party at 5pm and 6/10 girls stayed the night so we had LOTS of entertaining to do. Yes, it was very loud and maybe a little crazy at times but not a tear was shed and the girls actually slept from 11:30pm-7am with no wanting to go home in the middle of the night so I call that a success!!
