In Order from Top to Bottom… ONE / TWO / THREE / FOUR / FIVE

Happy Friday! Back with another Fashion Friday post to share a very honest review of five pairs of jeans I recently purchased that are all under $100! I am a total denim girl and probably wear a pair of jeans almost daily during the Spring, Winter and Fall seasons here in Georgia. I am dresses all Summer long though since it gets so dang hot! I have to say though that I am super duper picky about jeans and usually have a difficult time finding a pair that I absolutely LOVE! My top two very favorite pairs that I rotate out most often are both over $100 so I went on a mission to find another less expensive pair or two that I can rotate out as well. You can shop my current two faves HERE and HERE. I will go ahead and spill the beans… I found one pair that I am OBSESSED with and another that I love! The first pair CAN BE PURCHASED HERE and are by a brand that I really like called KUT from the Kloth. I have a pair of dark green cords by them that are actually on the main picture of my blog! These are a pretty typical weight and feel of denim that are cozy-ish if you know what I mean. Cozy enough to wear during the day but not ones that you would maybe want to lounge around the house in. The waist is moderately high in my opinion which to me do make them a little more comfortable but are not as flattering on me with many of my tops. I find that these run a size big and do “grow” a little when you wear them so you could honestly probably even size down two sizes. I am wearing a size 2 and typically wear a size 4. For me, this were probably my least favorite because the waist and mid-section were bigger proportionately to my body than the legs. Overall I would say that if you like a slightly higher rise and find that waistlines are typically a little snug on you, these would be fabulous!
The next pair CAN BE PURCHASED HERE and are a super distressed, much lighter colored pair of denim by STS Blue. One of my favorite pairs of distressed black jeans are made by this same company! Same review as above as far as denim weight and comfort and honestly about the same review as above as well about the legs being pretty fitted. On me at least! I didn’t LOVE these on me because I felt they were a little over-distressed in places where it is not as flattering on me mainly in the upper thigh area. I find that these do also grow a tad which kind of drives me nuts. I do prefer the slightly lower waistline on these though as well as the mid-section fit so these overall rated slightly higher for me than the last pair. Overall I think that these are a great pair of jeans for someone who likes a low-mid waistline and is looking for a really distressed look.
Next up is a pair that CAN BE PURCHASED HERE and were definitely my favorite pair of distressed denim that I have purchased in a long time! They are made by Leith which is a favorite of mine for tops and dresses but maybe a first for jeans! In my opinion, the color and distressing is super flattering and the overall feel of the jeans are slightly softer than the first two pairs and have more of a legging feel which I love. I do feel like these grow a tad as well so size down! They do have a pretty high waistline which is possibly the only reason that these didn’t rank higher on my personal list BUT I did keep them so that is saying something! Overall these are super cozy, very flattering and a great fit especially for the price!
The next pair CAN BE PURCHASED HERE and are made by Articles of Society which is a FAVE of mine! I have several pairs of jeans by this brand and a white pair in particular that I LOVE! The absolute ONLY thing that I do not LOVE about this brand overall is that they do grow when you wear them. For me, the fit is perfect and they always have the best styles and colors. These are VERY comfortable and have a great legging feel. They feel secure and comfortable with a great waist height for me. These maybe rank a tiny bit higher than the last pair because of the waistline but not by much!
And last but not least, my very favorite pair that CAN BE PURCHASED HERE and a new top three in my closet! Which is crazy wonderful for the price! I loved these from the moment I put them on and they are even more fabulous the longer you wear them because they don’t grow much at all! They are insanely cozy and literally feel just like leggings for all of the right reasons. The color is perfect and the waistline is a great not too high/not too low fit for me. These literally can be worn two days in a row and they feel the exact same the second day you pull them on. I would know because I pulled them out of the dirty laundry room for this post ;-)! Another thing that I love is that there is some type of stitching in the crotch area (LOL!) that is very flattering and almost gives you more of a thigh gap. These seriously rank a 10/10 in my book considering the price, fit, feel AND durability!
