Velvet Curtains / Sofa / Coffee Table / Mirror / Vase / Drapery Rods & Hardware
Good evening! Sitting here on my bed finally getting around to writing this post oh so happy to be migraine free! Literally spent about 16 hours in bed last night, this morning and into the early afternoon. Thank GOODNESS John was here and able to pick up the slack and take the girlies to school AND pick them up! I started a detox Monday and definitely think that triggered it. Plus, I was out of Imitrex and once I pass that threshold of knowing one is coming on, there is no going back! The good news is that John got to witness me hurling for the first time and he is still laying next to me tonight 😉
Haha no but really though, so thankful to be feeling BETTER!!! Today I am sharing a little tidbit about how I hang drapery “professionally” with drapery pins even when the panels aren’t pleated and are “store bought”. The curtains are from my new GO-TO for really nice and super long panels that work for my almost 12′ tall ceilings. I chose their velvet panels in Blackforest Green and they are STUNNING!!! I FINALLY got them hung today and got the living room set-back-up-ish for John’s parents coming into town next week. I will definitely be adding a new rug as well as a new coffee table (this one is Ab’s). I also honestly wasn’t even planning to use this sofa BUT I LOVE IT so we shall see!
P.S. All of the drapery rods and hardware in my home are from Kirsch and they’re beautiful! They’re all from their Buckingham Collection.
Here is a little video sharing how I hang drapery panels “professionally” with drapery pins…
