Happy FRIDAYYYYY!!! The first two days of school are a wrap and I am happy to report that I am FINALLY getting all caught up on life. One week ago today I opened Addison’s Wonderland, my first of hopefully many brick & mortar stores, and it has been even more than I ever hoped and dreamed it would be. It was a heck of a five months personally and professionally getting to this point but the craziness was worth every single second. Our grand opening party Friday night was incredible and the turnout was far more than we ever imagined. The week has continued to stay busy at the store while I have leaned on my amazing staff there to run things while I have taken a little break. Well, “break” as in, getting my kiddos ready for school and getting my house back in order and tiptoeing back into the blog. Abigail has also been out of town this week for a much needed break since she worked her BOOTY OFF getting everything ready for opening day last Friday. I am even happier to report that next Monday I will officially officially OFFICIALLY be back in the groove with all things blog land. I will be sharing a FULL tour inside the store with details on everything as well as FULL blogs about our Summer travels and new affordable outfit finds and all of that good stuff! So stay tuned!
Today I partnered with Walmart for a little back patio DIY and DONE project! I have been so impressed with the selections at Walmart for everything from fashion to home. They have so many new lines and I love that I can easily shop online with free shipping AND the option to either have things shipped to my house or pick them up in store! For this project, I am OBSESSED with every single piece I found!
Summers here in Georgia are MIS.ER.A.BLE. Miserable. So hot and so humid and any time spent outside feels like you have stepped inside a literal oven. HOWEVER, Fall is around the corner! And I am SO excited! One of my very favorite things to do is to have people over as often as possible. From wine nights to cookouts and late nights around my outdoor fire pit, being around friends and family I love is food for my SOUL. One area that I have neglected to complete and decorate is my back patio and grill area. After fixing some drainage issues earlier this year and getting it all cleaned up, I decided to finally tackle this space. And I am IN LOVE! I found the cutest wicker bench and then the design kind of evolved from there. I loved the idea of adding some color with planters in the same grey tone on either side and then loved the pop of these cute white garden stools. Here’s a peek at the completed space! BRING ON FALL!
