HEY LOVEBIRDS… we are headed to my very very very favorite place in the whole wide world! Yep, AW Travel is headed to THE SOUTH OF FRANCE! This is truly the ULTIMATE French Riviera Itinerary that I created myself including all of our personal favorite and MUST SEE spots along the Riviera. Plus, the trip starts in Provence so you’ll get to also see the absolute gem of a city… Aix-en-Provence. Next April we are headed out on an adventure from Provence to the French Riviera! This is a COUPLE’S trip so grab your love, and come to one of the most romantic places in the world! Our 8-day journey begins on Sunday, April 13th, 2025 through Sunday, April 20th with everything already planned out for you… from numerous old town walks to a stunning vineyard visit, cocktails with VIEWS and a fun little surprise adventure. Whether you are timid about traveling abroad or you just love the idea of meeting new people, our AW Travel trips are for you! Most everything is already planned and completely taken care of so all that’s left to do is eat, drink and make memories that’ll last a lifetime!
Discover Aix-en-Provence–the “City of a Thousand Fountains”–experience the warm, gentle allure of southern France. Stroll along elegant boulevards, behold masterpieces at the Cézanne Studio, and immerse yourself in the captivating landscapes of Provence with its fields of lavender and rolling vineyards. Next, travel to the legendary charms of the French Riviera in Nice, where Mediterranean waters caress the famous Promenade des Anglais. Wander through the Old Town’s twisting streets, filled with vibrant markets and historic sights. From Nice we will be taking day trips to all of our French Riviera favorites from Antibes to Eze Village, Monaco and Monte Carlo to Cannes and even ferry to Saint Tropez! From the coast to the countryside, this is a journey to the heart of a region where culture, beauty, and relaxation await! Oh and we even have a few little surprises to sprinkle in along the way from cocktails with views to lunch at our favorite spot and even a fun little adventure!

John and I will be traveling along with you and we cannot WAIT to welcome you in the South of France next April! The trip is 8 days and 7 nights… April 13th, 2025 through April 20th, 2025. I can assure you that you will be absolutely blown away by the beauty of this region!
The trip cost is $4,399 per person and once again, includes an absolute TON! The cost includes seven nights of four star accommodations from Provence to Nice. It also includes all city transfers, our local guide, breakfasts and then several extra meals and experiences. Those are… a group “welcome” dinner at a local restaurant the first evening and then a day exploring Aix-en-Provence. This will be a day to relax and embrace the Provençal way of life. You may wish to stroll in the shade of plane trees down the Cours Mirabeau, visit the Old Town’s streets and shops, and gaze up at the Cathedral Saint-Sauveur. Next, we will adventure toward Nice with a stop at Château Saint-Roux, a farm dating back to the 15th century, is now an organic vineyard. This day you’ll be taken on a guided tour of the grounds and enjoy a tasting of 3 different rose wines, paired perfectly with some of the estate’s produce and local cheeses. From there we will arrive in Nice. Spend the next morning on a walking tour of Nice strolling through the Promenade des Anglais and charming Old Town, with its narrow alleys, colorful facades, bustling markets, and the enticing aromas of Provençal cuisine. Sights include landmarks such as the Palais de Justice, Cathédrale Sainte-Réparate, Marc Chagall National Museum, and the Colline du Château. Departing from the captivating streets of Nice, the next day we will venture towards the glamorous principality of Monaco. Marvel at the breathtaking vistas as you wind along the dramatic coastline to reach the medieval village of Èze, perched high above the azure waters. Explore the charming cobblestone streets, adorned with artisan boutiques and aromatic gardens, before continuing to the iconic Monte-Carlo. Immerse yourself in the opulence of the renowned Casino Square and the lavish Belle epoque architecture. Then, traverse to the captivating realm of Monaco, where you’ll witness the Changing of the Guard at the Prince’s Palace and bask in the allure of the Monaco Cathedral. This guided tour promises a day of discovery, indulgence, and panoramic beauty that encapsulates the essence of the French Riviera’s allure. The following day we will take a private transfer to the gorgeous city of Cannes where you can either stroll the city or take a ferry to discover Saint Tropez or the Lerins Islands! And then finally, we will travel from Nice to Antibes for a full day of exploration. Antibes offers a blend of rich history, culture, and Mediterranean allure. It is a perfect destination for those seeking a laid-back yet sophisticated seaside escape. Your driver will drop you off and pick you up anywhere in the Antibes area. If some or all of the group would like to walk the Sentier du Tire Poil footpath along the southern coast of Antibes, the driver can drop you off at the starting point and pick you up at at the end point. Then that evening will be our final farewell dinner.
Flights are once again NOT INCLUDED and are to be booked on your own… everyone will be arriving from different destinations and you’ll be able to extend your travels on your own if you’d like as well!
Once again, we went a bit outside of what our travel company typically sets up for these travels and upgraded all of the accommodations to 4+ stars and upgraded all of the meals and experiences. Hey, when you travel halfway across the world you want the full experience right?!?
