Our cabin is coming togetherrrrrr! Eeeekkkk! Seriously oh so excited. Just a few short weeks ago our cabin looked like a completely different home. Orange toned wood from floor to ceiling… old hardwoods, vinyl and tile everywhere and very few lighting fixtures. Seriously the strangest thing. Not a single overhead light in any of the bedrooms, the loft nor the living room. It was just three short weeks ago now that I started sharing our renovations. And in those very short 21 days, sooo much has been completed! Paint, flooring, wallpaper and all new lighting can now be checked off the list. Now we are just down to finishing up the kitchen cabinets and then completely furnishing the entire home. Literally just a month in and we are so close to finishing up everything! I can’t even believe it. And you know what that means?!? We are almost ready to rent it out! And I know that y’all will seriously LOVE this beautiful area and our sweet little home.
Today I wanted to share the progress of the master bedroom in Our Wilderness Wonderland which also just so happens to be the room closest to being completed. Earlier this year, we had new hardwoods installed and then several weeks ago we had it all painted. Last week Mark installed new lighting and then over the weekend we started to fill it with all kinds of beautiful furniture from one of my very favorite places to shop… Serena & Lily.
I first became rather obsessed with Serena & Lily when I stumbled upon the hanging rattan chair we had in our last home. I loved it so much I then purchased their double hanging chair for the front porch of our current home! And theeeeen I just HAD to have the adorable seahorse headboards for Winnie’s bedroom. Such cute stuff. I seriously stalk their website all of the time to see all of their newbies. Serena & Lily combines that effortless breezy California style with a passion for great design. Their look is casual and coastal, relaxed yet refined. Their designs blend classic influences with modern lines; eclectic inspiration with great American style. Basically everything that I love. A classic effortless look with that punch of eclectic fun!
Here’s a peek at the progress of our master bedroom!
Oh and stay tuned for the completed and accessorized reveal early next week!
