Never imagined I’d make my college dreams of bei

Never imagined I’d make my college dreams of being featured in a design magazine come true… never imagined I’d get married twice… never imagined I’d ever find someone with the same passion to make things beautiful… never imagined I’d be blessed with a home away from home… but sometimes dreams come true ✨ Although it isn’t my first magazine feature, this one feels extra special. A lot of work and a lot of tears went into all of the above and this place in our cabin and this place in life truly feels like HOME.

Easy like Sunday morning ♥️ Enjoying the simple, quiet moments more and more every single year. Turning 41 this week and what I hope for most is taking more time to enjoy what all we’ve built…. the home, the life and the FAMILY.

A thankfully “not so spooky” story… when we

A thankfully “not so spooky” story… when we purchased our 1908 home seven years ago, it was in complete ruins and unlivable to say the least. It was down to the studs with all of the electrical, plumbing and heating and air components completely ripped out. In complete shambles I guess you’d say. Absolutely perfect for a fixer-upper and a creative to say the least! Anyways, we of course were not able to stay our first night here until our renovations were complete one year later. Somewhere in the not so back of my mind the entire time I kept thinking to myself… what if we put all of this time, effort and money into this home and then we move in and hear or see “things in the night” 🤔👻 Don’t know about y’all but I’d be OUT! 💃 So far, so good though! 🥰🤣 Anyone have any spooky stories on their home???

Throw pillows are basically a collector’s item… right??? 😉 #ad If I were to buy “too many” of anything it’s dishes and pillows! Makes a house feel like home and can not only complete a space but in some cases, transform one too! @walmart’s pillow game is STRONG right now so I’m sharing a few of our my recent cutesy home additions that are all also UNDER $30! 🙌🏻 #Walmart

It’s that time again! Early mornings, lots of coffee, late practices and HOMEWORK! #ad This is the first year that the true homework grind really begins with Winnie so I wanted to set her up with everything she needs to get it done well and without any fuss or excuses! Although my girls have an art room that would be perfect for homework, she always seems to gravitate toward hanging out with me in the kitchen so I decided to fill her mud room cubby basket with tons of school supplies all UNDER $1 from @walmart ♥️ She can now simply come in the door, hang up her book bag and get to work! Sharing lots of what I got right here… #Walmart #WalmartBacktoSchool

Since I’m continuously daydreaming about the bea

Since I’m continuously daydreaming about the beauty of Europe anyways, we decided to recreate our love for it in our own backyard ♥️ As many of y’all may know from my stories, our pool and landscaping project has been almost two years in the making but it’s just a few umbrellas and small details away from completion and I’m soooo happy with how it’s turning out. I kept wanting to wait until it was completely finished to share but I just couldn’t wait any longer! Here’s a peek at our honeymoon in Greece, John’s Italian heritage and my love for France inspired backyard oasis…
