Good Morning! Today I am home in between a weekend at our cabin and then a house closing back up in the mountains tomorrow for our “treehouse wonderland”! Eeeeekkkkk! Y’all don’t even KNOW how excited I am to get started on this project. Let’s just say that the fun and the funky will be multiplied by about one hundred and one. When you have a home that is already basically a treehouse and you are only renovating for yourself and fellow vacationers and your style is already a litte over the top, it’s the perfect combination to have SOME FUN! Make sure you continue following along for everything from fun fashion finds to our newest home renovation!
Today I have teamed up with Nordstrom to share more fun looks for Fall! If you haven’t already noticed, I love to dress up. I tend to be a wee bit extreme with my clothing choices. You will pretty much always either find me in a baseball cap and workout clothes OR dressed up with heels. Always. It’s like if I am going to actually shower and make an effort, I may as well look my best! LOL. Yes, weird I know. I have just always loved dressing up. My passion and college major were fashion as I have mentioned before until my Junior year of college. My entire life before then I had my heart set on moving to the Big Apple and pursuing a career in the fashion industry. But then I married a boy and moved to the country… 😉
As we now lead super busy lives fixing up homes, running businesses and raising kiddos, fashion in my life has become a sit down at my laptop every now and then to order some cute stuff kind of thing. And in an effort to still dress cute but not drag my kids to the closest mall one hour away, I have fallen in love with Nordstrom. Their website is so streamlined and easy to shop, they alway have THE CUTEST looks and their shipping/return process is literally the easiest ever. Not to mention the fact that their customer service is the best of the best!
Last week I was perusing Nordstrom.com and came across THE CUTEST LEATHER SKIRT! It is made by Spanx so I knew it would be a great and flattering fit so I decided to give it a go! I ordered the skirt along with two new tops and then pulled some pieces I had ordered back during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale from my closet. I have learned over the years that great investment pieces stay in my closet for years and years and years. Especially with how versatile this skirt is, I feel it’s a piece that will never go out of style!
