Today is a Friday two-for-one! First things first… last week I was contacted by The Today Show. Yes, THE Today Show (wide eyed emoji) and they wanted to do a feature on our house! Say wha?!? I honestly did not even realize they shared home related stories but I replied before they could even blink an eye to change their mind. I think I was probably a record breaking e-mail reply. I am confident it hit her inbox before her original e-mail to me even fully sent. I obviously said YES and then she forwarded my information on to a Senior Editor with The Today Show. I spoke with her earlier this week and when I say she was so wonderfully sweet, that is the understatement of the century. Literally one of the kindest and most complimentary women I have spoken with thus far relating to my blogging adventures.
Julie and I chatted about our house as well as our upcoming adventures and then I sent her over images for the story. This morning I was so excited to wake up to the feature on the home page of their website!
And here’s the cutest Pinterest banner they created for our home tour…
So that is that. But that is not all folks, oh no that is not all! This is what happens when you are home with your three year old all day. You start quoting Dr. Seuss. Hehe. So next up is our real estate listing. You know… I have gone round and round about this. Do I share it publicly… Do I not share it publicly. Some days I think yes and Mark thinks no. And some days he says DO IT and I say “I ain’t cleaning for all kinds of showings!” 😉
However, now that we are really starting to make a move on Our Historic Wonderland we have decided to post it. I mean the reality is that a simple Google search will pull up just about anything you want to know on someone including their home address. So without further ado, here’s our house listing…

Oh and SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! Our agent will be monitoring calls and we are only offering private showings with pre-approval and active interest in this city/area. However, if you are interested in living in our quaint little town of Monroe, GA or know someone who is, send them our way!
XOXO, Brittany Hayes
