Happy Happy Fri-YAY!!! With one week left until Thanksgiving, I am a weeee bit overwhelmed. Thanksgiving week is of course a wonderful time at home with family but it just so happens to also be one of the busiest blogging weeks of the year as well. Trying to get ahead this week on my shopping guides and gift idea posts so I can focus on my three favorite people next week! Which will make my life much easier when it comes times to Holiday shop but until then, I will be bouncing back and forth between my laptop and our flip house. Yes, we are making progress on our still unnamed “fixer upper”! Hoping to decide on a name for our historic flipping journey very soon! Mark and I actually spent the morning re-working the floorplan and getting everything together to meet with an architect to create a second level in the home. Exciting craziness for sure! Today I have teamed up with Nordstrom to share my very first Holiday shopping post of the year! I fell in love with shopping at Nordstrom several years ago after discovering how incredibly easy they are to shop online and make returns. Given that I almost exclusively shop online, ease of shipping and returns is HUGE for me! Although I do consider this a Holiday shopping post, I have to admit that I would totally be snagging all of these for myself as well! After getting quite a few requests for cozy shoes and flats, I decided to use this Nordstrom partnership opportunity to shop the most stylish and super coziest shoes I could find. No, we aren’t talking tennis shoes and slippers. These are “fancy-ish” shoes that just so happen to also be crazy comfortable. From mules to booties, I have tested out and styled quite a few pairs to narrow it down to my top three faves!
One last thing… across all of my fashion posts on the blog, you will most likely always be able to find some repeats. Although I love to shop the latest and greatest and find lots of new things to share, I also think it is important to continue styling and sharing items you may have already purchased from my blog. I genuinely share what I love and what I actually wear in real life so you will see clothing pieces, shoes and accessories across all of my social media again and again. I know it’s a total faux pas to wear anything twice but this busy mama wears her clothes out!
