Our Treehouse Master Bedroom Paint Makeover with Ace Hardware!

You guys!!! I am soooooo excited about today’s post! For this paint makeover, I teamed up with Ace Hardware who oh so fabulously sponsored this post and provided paint for the transformation of the master bedroom in our treehouse. Mark and I both have loved Ace Hardware for years and years and years now. We have several local stores and have purchased everything from custom keys to grills to paint at our local stores. Plus, it is also the only local hardware store at our cabin community so Mark has made a few hundred or maybe hundred thousand trips to the Ace Hardware right outside the community gates for our dozen or so renovations here in North Georgia.

As you may remember, a few months ago we purchased the cutest little mountain property that we named “Our Treehouse Wonderland”. It is literally a 980 square foot octagon perched above the beautiful North Georgia mountains in a community that we have become quite OBSESSED with over the last 12 years. We purchased our first cabin in this community before Addison was born and have owned quite a few since that time. It is our home away from home that we sometimes find way more fabulous than our actual home. It is sooo beautiful and sooo relaxing and sooo peaceful that I literally crave time there. I would say that we love it there because it is a reprieve from work but hey, we wouldn’t be the ones to know about that! We always seem to be working on something!

From the moment I walked into our “treehouse”, I had this vision for the space. I knew I wanted a thatched roof look for the burlap ceilings with light, bright walls in every space except the master bedroom. As you can probably tell with our master bedroom in “Our Historic Wonderland”, I love a bold and dark bedroom wall color. For the ceiling, I chose Adobe Hut (N-C3) by Clark + Kensington for it’s perfect mix of grey and brown. From there, I chose Silent White (CW-C1) by Clark + Kensington paint for the trim and some of the walls because it’s pretty close to a pure white. Not too warm and not too cool. It is JUST RIGHT! And finally, the master bedroom walls turned out GORGEOUS!!! They are Clark + Kensington’s Midnight Stroll (N-C16). Once again, a super pure color but this time it’s pure BLACK! I am absolutely IN LOVE with all three Clark + Kensington paint colors I chose for our little “treehouse”. The best part is that everybody at my Ace was so helpful in helping me decide on the colors to use here.
