Today I am super excited to have teamed up with the DIY powerhouse Katie Bower with Bower Power Blog for a super easy and fun wooden Christmas tree DIY tutorial! About a year ago, I met Katie through some mutual friends and our amazing church which we love so. I quickly became hooked on her blog and her incredible ability to make just about anything, make it cute AND care for her four adorable boys all at the same time. Yes, I said four. She’s pretty much the rockstar of DIY’ing so when I decided to add a little homemade project to my Christmas decor stash, I knew exactly who to call!
After drooling over these adorable and super colorful ombre bottle brush trees at Anthropologie and mentally designing my entire Holiday mantle around this idea, I went to order them and realized they no longer carry them! So I wiped away my tears and went to Plan B. Do it myself! And since wood seemed a wee bit easier to work with than bottle brushes, Pinterest saved the day with this adorable idea.

Meet My Little Tree Farm!
I have to say that I am pretty pumped about how stinkin’ cute these are! After my girls used them for sword fighting for a short bit, I used a thick double sided tape to attach them to our mantle. This also allowed me to wrap the gold garland through them without it all tumbling over. Enjoy!
Now that you’ve checked out my adorable trees, pop over to Bower Power Blog and see how cute hers turned out!
P.S. Check back tomorrow for Day One of my “AW 15 Days of Christmas Giveaways”! I am giving away over $1800 in amazing clothing and home decor from 15 incredible companies!
XOXO, Brittany Hayes
