I am headed to Texas! As crazy as it seems as a born and raised Southern girl, I have only been to Texas once in my life and that was actually in January of this year for the SuperBowl! It’s funny because at events people usually guess that I am from Texas with my “Southern accent” that I swear I don’t have ;-). But I am in fact a Georgia girl and am excited to see Dallas for the first time! I have always heard super fabulous things about Texas and some of my favorite bloggers are from there so I just know I will love it! I just hope the food isn’t as amazing as it was in Houston. I swear I gained ten pounds that ONE WEEKEND! Ugh.
I feel like the last year or so has been a whole lot of blog traveling. Which I LOVE. Thank heavens for a super fabulous hubs! This trip is actually extra exciting because it is an invite-only event recognizing the top performing “digital influencers”. As exciting as it is, it is also one of those super duper beyond intimidating things that you equally dread and look forward to. Or maybe that’s just me. Given that 99.5% of those attending are top fashion bloggers, I am a wee bit nervous. Okay a lot nervous.
First before I leave, I wanted to share another edition of “What I Packed”! I found some of the CUTEST dresses, shoes and jewelry for the week so I just HAD to pop in and share them all! Excuse the lack of make-up in these selfies. I literally ordered a bunch of stuff online last minute, tried it all on first thing this morning to figure out my faves and snapped some quick pix! These are all of my faves and everything else is getting shipped back on Monday! Also, I ended up popping into Nordstrom this afternoon to pick up several last minute things so some of those newer finds are at the bottom of this post along with things I already had that I am taking as well.
