My Must-Haves from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale- Part TWO!

Happy Tuesday friends! I am back today with part two of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale round-up! As you may have seen last week on my blog, Nordstrom is having the BIGGEST SALE of the YEAR. The absolute best selection of Fall & Winter items that haven’t even hit the shelves until now! All of these items will be back this Fall at regular prices so you will definitely want to scoop them up NOW!

Yep, I have done several posts on the Nordstrom sale over the last week. So let me take a second and be super honest and open and chatty with y’all and explain why… For one, it truly is quite literally the biggest sale of the year. I love to share great deals and great finds and my personal faves so this sale truly encompasses ALL of the above. As you know if you have followed me for a while, I LOVE to dress cute! I always have and even almost majored in fashion before I discovered interior design my sophomore year of college. Second, to be quite honest Nordstrom is a HUGE supporter of bloggers! They are also a personal blog sponsor that has allowed me to really focus on my blog and share so much with all of you. Blogging is a LOT of work. WAAAY more than I realized when I decided to start “piddling with it” almost three years ago. I truly thought I could blog during my lunch break and in the evenings… HA!… and quickly realized that between styling and photography and editing and re-finding and linking every product source to share with y’all and posting on social media and trying my best to keep up with answering questions and comments, I was really in for a full-time gig if I was to give it my all. Which is me. I just can’t give something 10% and be proud of it. When it comes to something like blogging (in general not just mine), it is literally like “free” information, inspiration, ideas, product sourcing and tutorials right at your fingertips. Like a free virtual “magazine” on topics on everything from DIY to interior design to fashion and everything in between. A “magazine” that shares every paint color, every construction detail and every product source in the easiest “click and shop” kind of way. But those things take us a lot of time. Blog posts with lots of sources and links and details take me HOURS to complete. Literally. So supporting the companies and products that support us means the world to bloggers like me. To all of us. Those images and tutorials you click on Pinterest for more details or those fashion pix on Instagram? Yep, I’d bet that 98% of them are bloggers just like me. Blogs that are supported through ads and sponsors and commissions. Without companies like Nordstrom and LOTS of others ones, I wouldn’t be doing what I am doing or at least wouldn’t be able to devote the time and details to it that I am able to today. I do obviously also LOVE Nordstrom. I would NEVER share items that I do not love or use or wear or design with. EVER. I have turned down SOOO many collaborations over the last three years because they just weren’t me. My blog is me and I ALWAYS want to be authentic. You may not always love my design style but no one could ever say that I am not 1,000% ME. And that is why I am sharing all of this today. Authenticity is my jam and I hope that is something that can always be seen in the “pages” of my blog.

Whew! So now that I have jabbered my morning away, let’s chat cute clothes!!!! After spending the night in Atlanta on Friday night after my vignette gallery design reveal at America’s Mart, which I will share NEXT WEEK!, Mark and I picked the girlies up at my Dad’s house in Atlanta and headed to the mall! Well, Mark and Winnie drove home but Addie wanted to stay and shop with me :-). We spent the morning at Nordstrom trying on more cute things from the sale and I snapped some pix of my faves! I share fit details below too! Oh and P.S… things are already selling out!!!
