Did any of you guys attend New York Fashion Week? If so I am JEALOUS! I attended it two years ago during their February Fashion Week but this year I have been watching the trends from home.Well, from my iPhone. LOL. I am dying to come to a Fall show one day though! I am sure the weather was a wee bit better this past week than the record lows we had that year. It was freeeeezing! I also never turn down an excuse to go to New York City so maybe next year will be my year!
One trend that I kept seeing this past week that I actually became a huge fan of over the Summer is handbag backpacks! I literally switched over from a tote to a backpack for our European Summer travels and have not looked back! I actually came to France with one and then the strap broke about three weeks into our travels and so I hunted for three days just to find another backpack. Yep, that obsessed. My sister has also recently started loving this idea too and she found the cutest Kate Spade one!
For this post, I teamed up with eBay to show you guys what great deals you can find on designer handbags on eBay! I love shopping eBay honestly because I have shopped their site for what feels like forever now! I got hooked in college and it’s just always a site I find myself perusing. Did you know that 69% of their items ship for free? AND 81% of their merchandise is new and available to purchase with their “Buy It Now” option. Once we got back home mid-July I started wanting to find a nicer one since my newest backpack bag had started unraveling and because I knew it was a trend that I wanted to stick with as long as possible. I hopped onto eBay.com and found a slew of designer bags that I LOVED. I knew I didn’t want to spend too crazy much but I also wanted a great investment piece or two that I could use for a long time. The liked the idea of having a mini size for everyday use and then a larger one for trips and on days I just need to carry a good bit more.
First, I found this mini Tory Burch fringe backpack and I was sold! I loved the size, the color and the cute fringe detail of course. Next I found this beautiful and much larger metallic Kate Spade backpack. They both arrived super fast and in perfect brand new condition! I have been using the Tory Burch bag every single day since it arrived and I plan to use the Kate Spade bag lots during our upcoming trips. Here’s peek at both bags AND lots more that I LOVE!
