Good morning!!! Guess what?!? I am FINISHED with my Addison’s Wonderland brick and mortar!!!!!!! That sentence literally needs all of the exclamation points in the whole entire world. Whew what a project! I guess I KIND of knew what I was signing up for when I signed a lease of two connected historic commercial spaces back in March but I also HAD NO FREAKING CLUE. I have done lots and lots of renovations over the years but never ever all alone and never ever to this extent. Add on having to work with the city and permits and codes and yea well… I may have needed a glass of wine or two over the last five months. Maybe 😉
HOWEVER, after life threw me some craziness and I spent maybe 24 hours sulking, I kicked it into high gear with Abigail by my side and WE DID IT. We FREAKING DID IT. It was sooo much work but also sooo much fun. It was sooo many laughs but also a few tears. And a few blood splatters. LOL! But I am happy to report that as of last Friday night, Addison’s Wonderland is OPEN!!!
Today I have partnered with eBay to share a peek inside my new Addison’s Wonderland event venue. I am SO excited to have a space to share with others and to use for my own future events that is a true reflection of my vision for Addison’s Wonderland. One thing I LOVE about shopping on eBay is that 80% of their items are BRAND NEW! Plus, 72% of their listings SHIP FREE! Here’s a peek at my back porch dining space with eBay! For this space, I found SOOO much cute stuff! From the rattan daybed to the acrylic coffee table and the rattan side tables, so much of this space is available on eBay.
Here is a peek at one little nook inside Addison’s Wonderland! Oh and P.S. … there is still a little bit to do. Trimming the wallpaper, painting the conduit… It’ll come together fully within the next month! Just happy to have it OPEN!
