The weekend is HERE!!! We’ve had a super fun Friday so far and the weather is gorgeous so I am ready for a weekend at home. Finally. We’ve had a super busy few weeks so it’ll be nice to relax and enjoy the house and so many newly completed home projects! This morning my girlies had a Homecoming Pep Rally and Parade at school so I attended that which is always fun. Winnie was a banner holder and Addie was a jellyfish. LOL. They were able to leave school after the parade so they came up to Addison’s Wonderland Boutique with me to hang out for a bit. Winnie absolutely LOVES checking out customers. It’s so dang cute. She scans the tags and reads them their total and asks for their signature and everything. And then there’s Addie who sat in the corner and read her book. Love how different and uniquely fabulous each of my girlies are!
Yesterday I shared my newly completed and styled outdoor grill area and today I am sharing the adjoining basement bar/kitchen! The kitchen part is still a work in progress but the bar is complete and I am IN LOVE!!! It turned out even better than I imagined. I loooooove the original brick we have in the space and the whitewashing I had done when we renovated the home has become the perfect backdrop for my splash of whimsical decor.
For the styling of this space, I partnered with Serena & Lily and their fresh take on casual dining! In designing rooms, I always feel like a mix of textures is KEY! Playing with textures can completely transform a look from overdone to just right. With the mix of brick and tile and tassels, I wanted a bit of a natural wood texture to complete the look. I have always LOVED the look of Serena & Lily’s Riviera Counter and Barstools. I am OBSESSED with how it all turned out!!! Oh and as far as details on the space… the trim is Dorian Gray, the tile is from CleTile and the countertop is Quartz. Here is the completed project and all of my favorite Serena & Lily Counter and Barstools (in my favorite color combos)…
