Happy October!!! That means there are officially two reasons now to NOT be excited. First, it is in fact October now and it is currently 95 degrees outside with approximately 98% humidity. Awesome. Secondly, I turn 38 years old tomorrow. Boooooooo!!! Yep, not excited at all. But I will say that I spent some time this morning meeting with someone discussing my future and financial goals and that led to life goals and all the things. Needless to say, I have high hopes that 38 will be waaaaaay better than 37. LOL. Although knock on wood that one should be fairly easy given the last six months of my 37’s. I have some mega mega mega goals and projects and honestly just a way better outlook on life going into 38 so for that I am super excited and super thankful. It’s funny because I feel like I spent a lot of my life somewhat pessimistic and a huge worrier. After some marriage happenings about six years ago now, I literally just flipped this switch and realized that everything I had feared for years and years… everything from worrying about money to worrying about our company… never actually happened. But the things I never even fathomed did happen and wrecked my life. From then on I found a new focus and faith in God and trusted the path of my life to the point that I slowly became hugely positive and optimistic. I realized there were “reasons” He put those terrible things in my life and that the changes within myself actually led me to a better and happier place in life. And I can say without hesitation and without question that this same thing has happened a million fold over these last six months. I am truly THE HAPPIEST, the most content and the most hopeful I have ever been and have ever felt in my entire life. So CHEERS to 38!
Today I teamed up with World Market to showcase one of my very favorite projects of the whole entire year! My pumpkin filled fireplace!!! Which also means all things Fall and all things Halloween which I love oh so much as well. I wanted to change it up and jazz it up a tad since last Fall so I popped over to World Market’s Autumn decor online section and did some shopping! From new candles to new banners and the prettiest sheepskin throw, I found soooooo much cute stuff! Here’s a peek at my new “ready for Fall to finally arrive” living room!
