Happy Birthday to ME! Ugh, no thanks to one year closer to 40. Yep, today I turn 38 and I am none too excited about that! As I shared yesterday though, I am honestly ready and excited and hopeful for a new year. A whole new year which means twelve more months to continue the path I’ve been on the last several of finally living the life of my dreams. A life of feeling content and at peace and a life finally fulfilling all of my crazy dreams with those who support me by my side. From mommy-ing goals to travel goals and HUGE career goals, I am hoping this will be the year I get to see some of my wildest and craziest dreams come to life. And I cannot WAIT to take you all along for the ride!!!
Today I partnered with Serena & Lily to continue along my path of giving my home a huge refresh as a newly single woman. I started with my master bedroom and so far, I have LOVED the changes! My once black bedroom is now light and bright and airy and I am OBSESSED. I love the way the freshly painted Alabaster walls showcase the light wood furnishings and my almost 115 year old brick fireplace. Plus, I love that the one big pop of color is in the cobalt blue pillowcases I framed from my France travels over the Summer. It’s such a touch of me and the country I love so so much. I recently got a brand new quilt so I decided to get all of my favorite pillows from Serena & Lily to complete the look! First, I found these ridiculously beautiful ivory pillows with the softest baby alpaca wool fringe and applique. They are GORGEOUS in person! I finished off the bedding with this beautiful plaid lumbar pillow and accented the bench with this super cute smoke lumbar pillow. I am absolutely loving the progression of this space! And my life! LOL! Here’s a peek at my newly completed master bedroom…
