Today I am SO DARN EXCITED to share my birthday weekend!!!! I was thrilled when the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta reached out to collaborate but I also had NO CLUE what to expect! I had never seen a hotel so close to a stadium that it almost seemed to be “inside” of the stadium and to be completely honest, I don’t consider myself to be the BIGGEST baseball fan. BUT as y’all know, I am always up for a getaway and a new adventure so I said sign me up!!! Especially for my birthday weekend! So last Friday early afternoon, Abigail and I headed to Atlanta! As most of you know, I hired Abigail on as my assistant last November and I would absolutely SWEAR that God himself placed her in my life Himself. I knew “of her” through my church family and when I finally decided to take the plunge to hire someone to help me grow Addison’s Wonderland, something told me it was her from the moment we sat down to chat. Needless to say if you have been following my journey, God knew what was coming and knew I needed someone amazing in my life. It’s been QUITE the journey over the last six months but that journey very quickly brought us from boss/employee to super close friends and I am so so thankful He put her in my life at JUST the right time. Things have been crazy but she has helped me push through it all personally and professionally and now that things are on the mega upswing, we were in much need of a girl’s weekend!

For our fabulous weekend, we had the amazing opportunity to stay at their Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta. The hotel is quite literally “attached” to SunTrust Park (the Braves Stadium). With incredible views of the Battery Atlanta from so many of their rooms to the fact that you can walk out the back doors into the stadium gates and the incredible dining/shopping area, The Battery, this hotel is one of a kind!!! From the moment we stepped inside, Abigail and I were IN LOVE with this hotel! The inside is SO gorgeous and chic! I was obsessed with the subtle Braves touches around every corner and in particular the blue plaid carpet with red doors throughout the hotel room floors. We also fell in love with the decor in the PSTSZN bar area. We kept snapping pictures of every little nook! And then of course there are THE VEIWS!!! There aren’t even words to describe how fabulous it is to have floor to ceiling views of SunTrust Park and The Battery from your very own room. It literally feels like you have your own private box inside the stadium!

Game Time!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with an incredible spread of food and drinks in our King Suite with the most amazing balcony EVER! The view was perfection and being able to lounge on a sectional in complete privacy was AMAZING! Here is a peek at Abigail and I enjoying the food, drinks and Braves WIN! We had so much fun that we were literal giggle boxes the entire game.

After the game, we were invited to a Braves’ VIP bar inside the hotel in the prettiest space! Here is a peek…

SunTrust Park Tour…

Saturday morning we woke up to the most beautiful view once again and the yummiest in-room breakfast. Seriously… the parfaits were to die for! We had tickets for a 10am tour of SunTrust Park which was literally right out the back door of our hotel. It was so fun to see the stadium empty and to be able to tour the press box and all of the other fun spaces you would never be able to see.

After our tour, we walked around The Battery which is a shopping and dining area between the “backyard” of the hotel and the gates to SunTrust Park. There are soooo many cute restaurants and shops!

The Escape Game…

Late afternoon on Saturday we popped over to The Escape Game for my second and Abigail’s first “escape room” experience. I so enjoy things like this and Abigail was super impressed for her first time! It actually made me want to find one in Chicago this weekend for Addison! And… WE MADE IT OUT! With only two minutes to spare!

And then sadly, Sunday late morning it was time to head home. But not before, a FULL BREAKFAST buffet spread! I have to say that the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta truly outdid themselves with this location. It is AMAZING! More than I can even put into words and pictures. Seems like a dream trip for all of those baseball loving hubbies and sons out there! Hint hint! Thanks for following along!
