IT’S A GOOD TUESDAY PEOPLE! Exterior is painted and insulation is finished up. We are waiting for the go ahead from the inspection to get drywall up. If everything is good, that will start tomorrow.
Also, I am picking up some tile this weekend 🙌 I ordered a good bit (will share more details on that later), but we have a super awesome tile outlet in Athens that I am going to pop by to see if I can find some deals.
About two months ago, my dad walked into the house around 9:30 at night and I was literally in the fetal position crying my eyes out. It might be dubbed as my most over dramatic moment ever… total emotional breakdown. “I’m too young for this, what was I thinking, WHO let me do this, how is this even allowed I can’t even rent a car?!?!?” Just a little bit of the word vomit that came out. He lovingly, in so many words, said “Ab, pull yourself together” and “you are absolutely not giving up on this project.”
Any hoo, two months later and I am so thankful that I didn’t decide to give up on this sweet little house… I feel like all of my visions are starting to make a little bit of sense and I am SO excited to share the exterior transformation today. SO without further ado….
