Happy Fall Y’all!!! I would say that I could not possibly be more excited that the Fall is here however… Fall also means my big 4-0… {sigh}. Yep, in two short weeks I will be entering my fifth decade of life. How crazy is that?!? Kinda feels like I just graduated high school yet on the other hand thinking back to everything I’ve done and seen and been through since then makes it also feel like a lifetime ago. I will say though that although forty seems equal parts depressing and terrifying, there is a huge part of me that feels like this is just the beginning. I’ve never felt happier, more settled or more secure in my life. I’ve also never been more ready to dive deeper into tackling my dreams and I feel so blessed to get to do so with my handsome man turned bestie turned hubby.
Speaking of working alongside my bestie hubby, I also cannot believe that we are just on the heels of finishing our second cabin renovation together! This one may be taking waaaaaaay longer than the first but we are finally less than two months from completion. We’ve done much bigger and more in depth projects this go around plus we haven’t had long stretches of time to renovate like we did with the other one during Summer break in the midst of the pandemic.
This week we are heading up for just one night to finish up a few things while we are awaiting the delivery of our new refrigerator. Each time we head up I am also trying to start checking off items on our household and rental checklist. Things such as kitchen supplies, toiletry items and even home accessories. As I have shared lots in the past, I use my Walmart+ membership like something crazy. Honestly probably at least one to two times a week. Between projects and groceries and even supplies for my retail store, I feel like we are always needing a little restock on something. With free same-day delivery from local stores, Walmart+ is my go-to membership that saves me so so much time and money while also making my working mom life much easier. I honestly cannot even tell you the last time I walked inside of a grocery store. Walmart+ allows us free same-day delivery from our local store—groceries & more delivered as soon as today! Which I took full advantage of this week!
For this Walmart+ haul we got everything from charcoal since we don’t have an oven yet to coffee pods and powdered creamer since our new fridge has yet to arrive to cozy pillows, candles and even candy corn to celebrate the arrival of Fall.
