Good morning! Sitting here this Tuesday morning (I write blog posts at least a day or so out) with 25 windows open on my computer. From ordering for our retail store to planning for our next warehouse sale plus a few design project tabs, my brain is here there and everywhere this morning! Last week John and I met with our landscape design girls and finalized a few details about our upcoming backyard makeover and I CANNOT WAIT!
Of course I love design and of course we are ALL about tackling projects ourselves but there’s always a limit and plants is where I draw the line. I feel confident that I could choose pretty ones and place them well but let’s be honest, they’d all die a quick, painful death. When I can’t even keep succulents alive indoors, there’s about zero hope for an AW future in landscape. SO, I hired Garrison Messick Design… two amazon ladies here in town who are not only local but who also both live on my street! I showed them quite a few inspiration images I had been saving on Instagram over the last few months and they went to town drawing up my dream yard. I wanted something cozy, classic, timeless and elegant. Something that feels a bit overgrown and secret garden-esque. Here is a peek at their plan as well as all of our pool furniture.
