Good evening! Sitting here tonight watching the newest episode of Married at First Sight with John next to me ordering open shelving for the kitchen in our cottage renovation. Trying to wrap a few things up before we leave for Orlando tomorrow afternoon. Universal and Disney bound with the girls! John and I love a good theme park trip. We actually went just the two of us a few years ago and had an absolute blast. Fingers crossed for amazing weather!

Today I am sharing the first official ALMOST complete room reveal inside our newest renovation home. I say “almost” because we still have sconces to install over the fireplace and final artwork; or maybe a mirror. This fun… and fabulously creepy ;-)… piece of art currently over the fireplace actually belongs in our bedroom to the left of the brick fireplace but we needed a quick something in this living space when we were filming for Lovesac so we borrowed it for a bit!

So aside from that, this space is complete and it’s so bright and cozy. The perfect companion to the pattern soaked kitchen it opens up to. I wanted this space to be bright and cheery when you first enter the home as well as a little reprieve from the busier, moodier rooms throughout the home.
