Happy halfway through June! Goodness this Summer is already flying by. Addie moved “into college” for the month long Governor’s Honors Program she made it into for French over the weekend. She is about to be a senior… no college just yet… but a super fun, exciting experience and opportunity for her to feel like she’s in college! It’s a program for upcoming juniors and seniors in high school and is held at a different college campus each year. It’s very difficult to get into so I am of course so proud! ANYWAYS, she called me this morning and said that basically once we pick her up from this program, she has band camp and then school starts back! And then she will be a senior… SNIFF SNIFF. Summer is flying by!
But today, it’s still Summer and we are away on our annual adventure so I am coming to you from our France living room finally sharing another reveal inside our historic cottage renovation. About a year ago we started gutting the cutest little historic cottage a few streets down from us and we spent the last year renovating it back to it’s glory days with lots of AW charm.
This home has two bedrooms and this one is considered the secondary bedroom. The inspiration for this space was the discovery of this STUNNING mural by Belarte Studio. I absolutely love their papers and have used several in recent years. They have lots of really fun murals that are custom printed to fit any width and height. Which is difficult to find for a mural! From there I went very bright and neutral to allow the mural to shine and layered it up with lots of affordable cozies. Everything is linked at the bottom of this post. Here’s a peek back at when we purchased this fixer upper and then it now complete!
