Not going to lie… our couple’s trips have a special place in my heart. Getting to experience beautiful places with my hubby while ALSO making new friends is always THE BEST MEMORIES!
For this trip, we will meet in Athens and then head over to the dreamy island of Santorini! We have built this trip with exploration, good wine, and relaxation in mind! A week in the Greek Isles anyone?? We will be showing you all of the magical hidden gems on the island, staying in the most beautiful resorts, and enjoying the amazing food and wine sourced locally. We cannot wait to head out on this journey filled with laughter and once in a lifetime experiences!
When we started this part of AW three years ago, we had no idea what would be in store and the ways that we would grow… SO here’s what is different about this trip. Over the last three years, we have partnered with a local agency to build out these trips. We have loved our time partnering with them, but are SO excited to announce that we have brought everything IN HOUSE!!
The most exciting thing about this is that our abilities are limitless when it comes to accommodations and activities! ALSO, our pricing with higher end accommodations is so much better this way. Our goal has always been to show you guys the best places with the best accommodations and this transition has truly leveled up all aspects of AW Travel!

Next September, we are headed to one of the most picturesque, must-see islands in the world… SANTORINI, GREECE! This is a COUPLE’S trip so grab your hubby (or your boyfriend) and come relax with us on the Aegean Sea! Our 7-day journey begins on Tuesday, September 7th, 2027 through Monday, September 13th, 2027 with everything already planned out for you… from a Caldera dinner cruise on the Aegean Sea to exploring several villages on Santorini, sunbeds on the dreamiest black pebble beach, a local vineyard tour and not one but TWO five star resort experiences!
Whether you are timid about traveling abroad or you just love the idea of meeting new people, our AW Travel trips are for you! Most everything is already planned and completely taken care of so all that’s left to do is eat, drink and make memories that’ll last a lifetime. We’ve had so so many people say that taking a trip with us has given them the confidence and inspiration to travel Europe on their own. And not to mention the lifelong friends made on each of our trips!

John and I will be traveling along with you and we cannot WAIT to welcome you in Greece next September! The trip is 7 days and 6 nights… September 7th, 2027 through September 13th, 2027.
The trip cost is $4,899 per person (airfare not included) and once again, includes an absolute TON and actually MORE THAN EVER BEFORE! The cost includes six nights of four and FIVE STAR accommodations from Athens to Thira and Megalochori. The cost also includes all city transfers, our local guide, all breakfasts, our welcome dinner, private tour of the Plaka, village tours, winery tasting, Calderia dinner cruise, sunbeds on the Black Pebble Beach, guided sunrise hike to Oia and our farewell dinner!
Our adventures will begin in Athens with a stroll in the Plaka, the oldest neighborhood in Athens. Under the shadow of the Acropolis and its ancient temples, the neighborhood has a village feel with narrow cobblestone streets lined with tiny shops, tavernas and cafes. We will then enjoy a rooftop welcome dinner overlooking the illuminated Acropolis at a local restaurant! A perfect introduction to Greece! Our next day we will ferry over to Santorini and then settle into the amazing five star resort Enarma in the beautiful village of Megalochori. This evening we will enjoy the accommodations and take in the views of the gorgeous Caldera. The next day, our private guide will lead a tour through Santorini’s traditional villages, followed by a local wine tasting! At Estate Argyros, immerse yourself in the enchanting world of winemaking. Wander through beautiful vineyards, taste exceptional wines, and discover the rich history of this unique estate. With breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and a blend of traditional techniques, your visit promises to be an unforgettable experience. After a relaxing day sipping wine, the next day we hit the beach! Experience the lively ambiance at Theros Wave Bar, where you can enjoy stunning seaside views while sipping on cocktails and enjoying food service. We will have reserved sunbeds for the afternoon! On day five we will have an early morning to catch the sunrise as we hike into Oia… which is one of my personal favorite memories from Greece! That evening we will enjoy a Caldera dinner cruise along the Aegean Sea. Our next day will be a full free day exploring Thira and Oia and then our farewell dinner!
Flights are once again NOT INCLUDED and are to be booked on your own… everyone will be arriving from different destinations and you’ll be able to extend your travels on your own if you’d like as well!
