Floral Romper / Chambray Sandals / Zest Cardigan
Last Saturday was an absolutely beautiful Georgia day! I mean, FI-NALLY! After the weeks upon weeks of rain, rain, rain… the entire weekend was warm and sunny perfection. Spring was in the air and I was so excited to finally be able to dress the girlies in their new Spring/Summer Nordstrom outfits. Mark spent most of the morning and early afternoon working on “Our Historic Wonderland” and Addie was super anxious to see the progress since last weekend. I would too if I didn’t literally stop by daily to take a peek. I think Winnie is still a bit confused. Doubting that she gets the vision quite yet on how this gutted house full of tools will eventually be her warm and cozy home. She always says “Ugh, why are we going to the green house again?!?”
Mark wanted to sneak away for lunch with us on Saturday in our cute little historic downtown. Since it is literally a block from our new home, the girls and I got there a little early and took a stroll down our new street. It is honestly one of the most beautiful streets I have ever seen. So full of history and beautifully established yards and homes. Mark and I both have dreamed of living on this road for the last eleven years since deciding against a “fixer-upper” before Addie was born. It’s so crazy how things eventually work themselves out and you find yourself somewhere you tried to be years and years ago.
Living on Walton Street has been one of my dreams for a while but my forever long dream was to be a mommy to little girls. Being such a girlie girl myself, I always longed for the day that I could play dress-up with little ones of my own. Seeing as though Nordstrom is always my personal wardrobe shopping destination, I decided to pop over to their Baby & Kids section to start some early Spring/Summer shopping for Addie and Winnie as well! Their shipping is always free as well as their return shipping so it is literally a no-brainer for a busy mom like me. Plus, Nordstrom carries the best brands and has such a great assortment for little ones of all ages that are all great in quality, style, price and comfort! From shoes to clothing to accessories, you can find it all! And if you know me, fun colors and patterns are my signature from my home design to our attire.
Winnie’s adorable Floral Romper is every bit as bright, soft and beautiful in person as it looks in images. I have a feeling this will be a much loved piece this Summer. And these chambray sandals are a perfect, cozy fit. Winnie is super picky about shoes but she stomped around in these all day long! Here’s a peek at our stroll as well as Winnie’s adorable new outfit!
Also stay tuned, I will be sharing more on Addie’s outfit as well as our visit to downtown Monroe on the blog next week!

This is our front brick fence and iron gate below. Isn’t it adorable? I’ve always wanted a home covered in vines so this fence was love at first sight! And Winnie in this little romper is quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen. I want to eat her up with that sweet little grin!
Our new backyard :-)… And those three year old thighs! Squeeeeeze!!!
