Halle-lujah! Halle-lujah! As strange as it may sound coming from a blogger, I am CLUE-less about technology! And when Mark can’t figure something out, I am pretty much done for. So when my blog decided to stop allowing me to upload images into blog posts, I handed my laptop to the hubs. However, for the first time in my short blogging career, Mark was stumped. Needless to say, the issue has been resolved thanks to my hosting crew but I have been rather lost without you guys over the last several days! I am SO happy to be baaaack! So here’s what was meant to be yesterday’s post…
Happy Spring! If only the 1″ thick layer of yellow muck on our back porch and Winter’s relentless allergy cough would go away, I would be head over heels in love with this season. From the bright colors, which you know I LOVE, to the warmer weather and the welcoming of sandals, I am about 95% in love with Spring. The past week has been craziness as usual around the Hayes’ home. From Easter parties at the girl’s schools to a Maundy Thursday dinner event to hosting Easter festivities at our home, we have been going going going and even more than usual! Mark spent much of late last week working on our Lakehouse Flip and we are both actually headed down tomorrow to put the finishing touches on some things. Well, he will be working and I will be pointing, watching and photographing. Our usual groove. I am also hoping to do some Periscoping and will be giving you the full blog update. It’s looking amazing and super nearing completion. I will also be sharing the ONE design decision that I don’t love and will be changing. I certainly don’t get everything right and there’s one major thing I am having re-done. Stay tuned to find out!
In the meantime, I wanted to share a little Spring table decor inspiration from our home. Last week I was “nominated” to take on the table decor and set-up for Maundy Thursday for our church at our preacher’s home. They have a beautiful, huge Southern front porch so I set a table for 40 that I will be sharing later this week. It was so fun and a little outside of my usual design element which I love. It was also the one time, possibly ever, that my plate/napkin/table decor hoarding has come in handy. It was one of those “see Mark, I told you all 40 of these cute plate purchases were totally necessary” moments. Once we brought everything back home, I was inspired to re-create the Spring look on our dining room table. Here’s the result…
