Happy Hump Day! Holy cow who on Earth is that beautiful young lady?!? It absolutely CANNOT be my first born, tiny little toe-headed angel. I would swear that just yesterday she was in preschool sporting ruffle pants and knot dresses with flower bows that I obsessively made and stuck in her head from the moment she got out of bed every morning. My sister used to say that Addie was almost unrecognizable without a bow in her hair. These days Winnie is lucky if she gets out the door with a hairbrush run through her tangled, bedhead locks. But it happened. She has started to grow into a beautiful young lady and has ditched all things little girl. These days she watches Food Network and HGTV even more than her mommy and loves shoes as much as her daddy (yes, I said daddy). His shoe collection is worthy of a future blog post. Or I could just sell them all and we could retire. Hehe.
So today I am talking Kidswear! I have collaborated once again with one of my faves… Nordstrom to chat Summer Kidswear for all of the little ones/not-so-little ones in your life. My sweet Addie will be nine this year and I feel like finding cute, age appropriate, not so baby-ish clothing is getting more and more difficult. That is why I LOVE Nordstrom. They carry the best brands at the best prices with THE BEST customer service and return policy. I don’t have to stress about picking out and purchasing lots for Addie because if she doesn’t like it, I can send it back with no issues at all! And the quality is so amazing that I am able to save it all for Winnie to wear in a few short years as well!
AddieBelle, that’s her name in the non-bloggy land, is a total dress and skirt girl. She gets it from her mommy for sure. Summertime is for loose, cozy and comfy dresses. I wanted to change it up a little though and find something that she would think was just as cozy but a little different than her typical Summer “uniform”. So romper it was! She looks so gorgeous in blue with her crystal blue eyes so I fell in love with this royal blue romper. It is THE softest fabric and SUCH a great price! Then I found these stinkin’ adorable sandals! Addie’s eyes lit up when she saw them! I mean, I would TOTALLY wear them if they came in my size! And her cute little stretchy necklace pulled it all together and made her feel like a little lady 🙂 So here’s my little stunner as we took a stroll down our sweet little country road…
Oh and keep on scrolling for a full round-up of ALL of my favorite romper, sandals and necklaces!
