Well, we are officially back to life… back to reality… But today I am bringing it back to the absolutely BEAUTY-full townhome that we stayed in last week. I gave you some sneak peeks on social media throughout our vaca but today I am taking you on a tour through this entire Coastal Living worthy pad. Seriously stunning. It’s not too often, AKA never, that we stay in a huge AND gorgeous home on vacation. Typically it’s a choice between large rental a short drive from the beach OR a beautiful room in a resort on the beach. Never both.
As you may remember from our Spring Break trip several months ago, we have a thing for the Gulf. The little stretch of beach in Florida that extends from right about the Alabama line along the curved edge of the state of Florida. Two reasons… #1: the beaches are gorgeous & #2: it’s a short drive with a TON to do and see all within a one hour beach span. So back to number one. When I say gorgeous, I mean white sand and bath water. Although I love the charm of Georgia beaches, I am personally not a fan of the darker water and sand. If I cannot see my toes, no thank you. I would like to see the creepy crawlers before they come. See what I mean…
Once we got to Spring Break planning, I honestly went back and forth a million and one times about flying somewhere new and different and beautiful or going back to our tried and true spot. I swear that Mark and I spent every night for two weeks on VRBO trying to decide. Not even kidding. And then the sweetest blog reader/follower EVER contacted us about staying in her townhome. One peek online and we were convinced… 2,200 square feet, four bedrooms, beautifully decorated AND super close to the beach. The best part? The townhome is located on a quaint street off of the main craziness otherwise known as Destin. So even though everywhere else was jam packed for July 4th week, our little section was private, hardly crowded and relatively quiet. Unless we ventured into Destin, we did not experience much traffic and all of the chaos we have seen in other parts of the Gulf. As you may have seen from my pictures, the beach access area was private and designated for only certain condo/townhomes. Otherwise known as AMAZING!
So before I take you on a full tour of this coastal beauty, I know what you are wondering! How do I learn more? Here is all of the information you need…
