Hi! Currently eating a piece of John’s leftover birthday cake while watching 90 Day Fiance and typing up this post! My kind of Tuesday! 😉 Today I am SOOOOOO excited to be revealing the full renovation we just completed in the one and only bathroom inside our historic cottage renovation. Yep, we call it a cottage because it’s adorably small with just two bedrooms and one bath.

For this home I’d decided shortly after John completed the demo stage that I really REALLY wanted to go all out with color and pattern on this one. I’d been dreaming up the idea of creating a fully, floral wallpapered kitchen from floor to/and including the ceiling for quite some time so I just decided to continue on with wallpaper and color throughout almost every other room in this home as well… including the bathroom!

After falling IN LOVE with this wallpaper, I started perusing my favorite tile site… Villa Lagoon Tile and found the most fun Zellige mosaic tile to pair with the wallpaper. It felt a bit “scarier” than some combos I’ve done in the past since both the wallpaper and tile are very busy with small scale prints but I decided to go for it and oh my GOODNESS I love love love how it all turned out! I chose Villa Lagoon’s Zellige Mosaic Mat Triangles in Meringue and Oyster Shell and it is STUNNING! We’ve gotten all of the tile in our recent projects from villalagoontile.com and I’ve absolutely loved everything we’ve gotten so far. I actually chose this same color combo in 4″ Zellige tiles for the checkered kitchen backsplash we are starting on next week so stay tuned for that!
