Monday!!! I have a serious case of the Mondays y’all. A Monday migraine to be exact. I frustrate myself so much because I know my dehydration trigger but sometimes I just let myself get to that point anyways. Grrrr. Someone mentioned Bali coconut water on my IG messages so I am definitely going to try that! I am so in the habit of sipping my coffee until like 2pm so then I only have like four hours for water drinking until it’s time for my nightly little glass of red wine. Hehe. That paired with the Netflix series Peaky Blinders is our new nightly routine. I figured out quite a few years ago that I (and WE) really need that time in the evenings. It gives me something to look forward to every day and it forces us both to have some good down time. TOGETHER. It’s been so good for me and for us. We no longer have our own shows. We choose one good binge that we watch together and it’s been such a fun getaway for us both. I have to admit though that we have realized we both love a good dark, violent and depressing show. LOL! So weird! I am so not that way but all of our faves fall right into that category! Two quick pointers if you decide to give Peaky Blinders a shot… turn on the subtitles (their accents are STRONG) and commit to 3-4 episodes before you decide if you like it. I hated it at first but now I am OBSESSED!
Today I am back with my second “Amazon Fashion Finds Under $25” for the month of August! And I have to admit. This is my favorite one yet!!! I feel like I am getting into my groove with sorting through so many items and figuring out my favorite brands. Here is a look at my newest purchases along with honest reviews and fit details!
August Amazon Fashion Finds $25 OR LESS- Part Two!
Black Bodysuit / Striped Pants / Nude Pumps / Watch
First up, the cutest pants EVER!!! I swear that my faves always end up being the pieces that I am scared to buy but take the chance and end up loving them! I wore these to church yesterday and they are just the cutest! Once again, I love pairing flowy items like this with my favorite bodysuit to create a more flattering look. It also makes for a cozier look too because I am not constantly tucking in my shirt. These are a size SMALL and run pretty TTS.
Henley Top / Jeans / Booties / Watch
Love this cute and cozy top! It honestly took me a minute to figure out how to style it but I ended up loving it with the bottom button unbuttoned and then just a simple and tight loop tie. It is a medium thickness “waffle knit” fabric that is comfortable and warm. I love this color for Fall too! Mine is a size SMALL but I do think I could’ve sized down. I like this size too though.
Striped Dress / Cardigan / Booties / Leopard Flats
Next up, this easy and very transitional striped dress. As usual, I love that it has pockets and it is very comfortable! It isn’t the most flattering without a belt but I do love it with one. I wore it the other day and got several compliments on it! I also plan to wear it in the Fall with boots or booties and a cardigan! Mine is a SMALL but I do think it runs a tad big/wide.
Dress / Nude Pumps / Watch
OBSESSED with this dress!!! Like really really really obsessed. I love the fit and the color and the style and everything!!! It fits TTS, mine is a SMALL!
Floral Top / Jeans / Nude Pumps
This top is cute but maybe not my favorite ever. I really think it was just because it runs BIG! Mine is a SMALL and it was HUGE! I would recommend sizing down at least a size if not two sizes. I do think I would love it if it were smaller and more flattering. The print is super cute!
