OMG I am sooo excited! Literally for the first time in quite a few years, we took family pictures on Monday. I know, that sounds totally ridiculous for a blogger and I am sure you have seen 20 million pictures of my family and me on social media and my blog over the last several years BUT we honestly have not gotten “professional pictures” done in FORever. And to be honest once again, I had to put “professional” in parenthesis because I took these myself BUT they were posed and we were all dressed up and the kids were making eye contact with the camera and all of that jazz so I call that a win. LOL.
This past Monday afternoon I decided to take matters into my own hands and do my very own Christmas family photo shoot! I am sad to admit that I haven’t actually sent out Christmas cards in the last two years but this year I decided to make it a priority with the help of Minted… my very favorite online destination for finding the most beautiful custom photo cards. I always love looking back through memory boxes and seeing all of the ones we did years ago when the girls were little. I feel like printing pictures is such a lost art these days so not only having printed pictures but sending them out as well is such a gift! I pulled our settee out into the front yard and styled it all up with my colorful, whimsical aesthetic for a super easy and affordable family photo session. I set my camera up on a tripod and had a friend come hit the capture button! Here’s a peek at a few of my faves…

Once I sat down and edited them all, I popped onto Minted.com to check out their HUGE assortment of Holiday cards. From the most beautiful and unique layouts to foiled card options to foil envelope inserts and even custom postage stamps, Minted has absolutely everything you need to check those Holiday cards off of your Holiday to-do list! Another thing I love about Minted is how much they support their global community of independent designers and how all of their designs are sourced each year by the community which means that shopping Minted also helps support independent artists!
I had so much fun scrolling through and creating custom previews from the card designs I loved most. Once you create your Holiday photo card, you can also choose from fun, upgraded options for the back of the cards and unique envelopes options that coordinate with the cards as well! I created all of these so super fast and now I am excited for Mark to get home from work and help me decide which to order! They have a “SAVE” option on the website too which allows you to play around with designs and then save them for later! Genius! Here’s a peek at what I have narrowed ours down to…
Option One… JOY by Playground Prints!
With these beautiful Rose Gold envelopes…
Option Two… Time-Honored by Cadence Paige Design!
Love adding a fun photo back! With these coordinating envelopes…
