Happy Monday! Today is officially the first day of Spring Break for us this week! Woot woot! No early mornings, zero crazy mommy moments at 7:30am (I hope!) and absolutely no sluggish slow moving kiddos for five straight days. Yesssss!!! Me and the girlies headed up to our cabin last night and then Mark is joining us up here tonight. Soooo excited to get some cabin projects completed and to sip my coffee at 9am with beautiful mountain views for the next seven days. Could not possibly be more ready. I am currently writing this post at our dining/breakfast table here at the cabin while watching wallpaper installers paste paper in our living room for one of the guest bedrooms. I was about to say that this will complete my wallpaper projects here BUT you guys know how I am. That is highly doubtful. I even have an idea or two brewing as I write. Hmmm…
Today I am sharing a little Spring update to our front porch with World Market. You guys also know how much I love World Market. From our living room coffee tables (HERE & HERE) to our back and front porch pillows and even some cute things in Winnie’s room, World Market always has something new and fun that I love. We literally pass right by a huge World Market location on our way to the cabin so that’s always a little dangerous. LOL. Not to mention the fact that every single time I go they have TONS of new stuff! Rather addicting I must say.
Although exteriors are not my main jam, I did want to make sure and create a warm and inviting front porch that felt like a true extension of our home. Southern front porches in particular are such a gathering space and although ours isn’t huge, I wanted to make sure it was a fun spot to sit and watch the girls play or for Mark and I to sip wine at night. Since Spring has been making some short little guest appearances in Georgia here lately, I decided to go ahead and tackle some Spring cleaning and update our front porch. I found the CUTEST pillows at World Market for our front and back porches as well as a fun rattan lantern and grey knit pouf. Sometimes just a few new fun patterns and a fresh new color scheme can give a space a completely new look and I just LOVE how our front porch turned out thanks to World Market!
