Happy Almost Fridayyyyyyy! And Happy Reveal Day! Yes, those are a big deal here in interior design bloggerland. Partly because that is usually what y’all love most and partly because they take me forever and a day to complete. Well, is it cleaning my house for them that takes forever or everything else??? Hmmm… Earlier this year I partnered with Smith & Noble to FINALLY cover two sets of windows in our home that were in dyer need of some amazingness. And some privacy. I say amazingness and Mark says privacy. I mean, who is trying to peer into our windows anyways?!? Hehe ok yes we really did NEED them. Well, Addison’s bedroom was good to go with a sheet over her window and glass door (hehe) but our kitchen needed something BAAAAD. Not just for privacy but for the crazy sunlight we get in the mornings that not only blinds us but was killing our wood floor and table!
First, let me sum up my last Smith & Noble post and get you up to speed… or you can READ IT ALL HERE… We bought a house. A 112 year old home gutted down to the studs. We spent a year restoring all 6,000 square feet. Lost a lot of sleep and spent a lot of money BUT ended up with our dream home. And now that it is “finished”, it is my own personal full-time designer/blogger project. But what do you get when you restore a 112 year old home full of charm and beauty and quirkiness? The weirdest window sizes EVER! So that my friends is why I turned to Smith & Noble!
Since 1987, Smith & Noble has offered custom blinds, shutters, shades and panels without the custom price. Their mission has been to provide the best values on the market, making custom window coverings available to homeowners and business owners, as well as interior designers. Their large array of designs makes it easy to strike the right note in your space, and they offer a variety of services to help you choose that perfect look. Their free in-home designers will help you narrow down your options by showing you samples and guiding you through the ordering process… which is EXACTLY what I did! As you saw in my last post, a local in-home designer came to my home and helped me choose the best style for the space, showed me a HUGE assortment of fabrics and even measured it all for me! Just two and a half weeks later, their installer came out and professionally installed all five shades for us. It was so easy and so professional and needless to say after you see the reveal… I am OBSESSED!!!
