Alrighty friends, take a seat and hold on tight. I have a feeling that if your style is similar to mine in even the slightest, you are about to experience heart flutters, slight tremors as well as definite and immediate “need to go here NOW” syndrome. You see, that syndrome hit me a couple of months ago when someone ever so briefly mentioned a… WAIT FOR IT… Anthropologie Outlet. Yes, my biggest obsession on Earth (besides God, my kids, my hubby and all of that jazz OF COURSE) has an outlet. So I drove there with my sis one weekday about two months ago and I could’ve sworn my heart stopped as soon as I entered. You see, I love anything and everything Anthro Style. Dangerously obsessed Mark MIGHT say. Like I want our entire “Our Historic Wonderland” to have that vintage, boho chic vibe that they do oh so well. And let’s just say that it did NOT disappoint!
On that day trip, I snagged two light fixtures for our new home (SEEN HERE) but with only my SUV, I was pretty limited on larger purchases. So after we got home from our Spring Break beach trip Friday and Mark informed me of his day long softball tournament on Saturday, I decided to load up the kiddos and my mom (well, she in fact loaded herself and helped load my kiddos) and made the two hour trek to Augusta, GA. In Mark’s truck. If you are a loyal blog reader you may remember my recent post about my big uh-oh in his new ride. Let’s just say that after putting the wrong gas in his truck, I am shocked I was even allowed to sit in the driver’s seat. Lesson learned FOR SURE! And seeing as though my poor girlies had just spent the entire day in the car the day before, I hit up Chick-Fil-A and Wal-Mart for some little treats to hold them over before we left Monroe. Two new movies and a bag full of chicken minis later, we hit the road. And yes, on Master’s weekend. Traffic actually wasn’t too bad! So here’s a look at our day trip, my finds and my want list for next trip.
Oh and seeing as though I am being SO sweet 😉 and sharing this incredible little secret with all of you, you are not allowed to now go and purchase said “want list” of mine. My friend even suggested I not share this with all of you since “your 200,000 readers are all going to go and buy everything up and I haven’t gotten to go yet!” Haha but I love y’all so much that I share ALL of my amazing finds. And y’all wouldn’t do that right??? Kidding kidding.
Our Trip
And if you’ve ever wondered what the hubby has to say when I go on these shopping excursions, here’s a perfect summary…
My Finds
First, I snagged this AMAZING canopy bed, in white, for AddieBelle’s new room! Since her bed is going in front of our “Romeo and Juliet” balcony door that we do NOT want her to open I wanted something open and airy to still let the light in. Plus, she will have 11′ ceilings! Here’s where it’ll go…
And here’s what it looks like put together…
Next, I purchased two of these funky little chairs I have been eyeing FOREVER on their website!
I also got this beautiful 8 x 10 rug that I THINK I plan on using in Addie’s room as well. Looks like my little blondie got lucky on this trip! Although I usually just snag things I love and then work around them later.
And it DOES look really beautiful in this dining space…
And finally, I got this stunning chandelier! I am hoping it’ll be the perfect size for Addie’s new room…
My Want List
And here’s what I have my eye on for next time…

Now who wants to join me next time???
FAQS
- Is it super discounted? Yes! I would say most home products are at least 50-75% off!
- Is it worth a long drive? I definitely think so! It is super hit or miss but if you’re looking for larger items, it is perfect. Since I am in need of lighting, large rugs and larger furniture pieces it has been worth several trips back. However, they do not have hardly any smaller home decor items such as bedding, drapery or rugs under 8′ x 10′. I would also say that from the time I went about two months ago, they hadn’t gotten TOO much more in stock than what you see here. Oh and they DO NOT hold anything. You must take it with you right then.
- Are items damaged? In general I would say “kind of”. You can definitely find things that have no visible damage like the items I found but there are also lots of things that are super damaged as well. As far as the lighting, two of the pieces I purchased need a little welding which Mark can do no problem but for some that may be a huge issue. Plus, you cannot test the lighting and make sure it works. Once again, thankful for a handy hubs but just something to keep in mind.
- Where is it located? Augusta, GA
