Good evening! The weekend is almost over. Boooo!!! We’ve had quick, relazing and quite crazy little mountain weekend. Ummm… did you guys see my IG stories??? Let’s just say that a mama bear and three cubs made a little poolside appearance today and our girl have not stopped talking about it since! Sure beats a trip to the zoo! Especially when the little cubs started climbing a tree! Cutest thing ever!!! We also popped by “Our Treehouse Wonderland” for Mark’s very first tour of our newest project. I was a wee bit nervous since this is the first house I have ever purchased solo BUT he loved it! Whew! Now time to get to interior renovation planning. My favorite! Stay tuned for more on that!
Tonight I am popping in less than 24 hours before this year’s Amazon Prime Day to share my latest Amazon Fashion finds! I started working with Amazon around this time last year and to be completely honest, I had never purchased any clothing from Amazon at that time. I kind of didn’t even know they sold clothes and shoes! It took me a couple of months to kind of get into my groove with searching and purchasing since they have sooo much to choose from but I have to say that I am now hooked! I have been getting so many amazing deals that it is kind of addicting! Also, I swear that Mark unknowingly compliments me whenever I am wearing something from Amazon. Like it has kind of gotten weird. I keep saying “it’s from Amazon again!”
Last week I decided to pop on and purchase nine items all under $25. From dresses to skirts and tops, all really cute items that seemed like crazy good deals. So here’s a peek at my finds and my super honest reviews and fit details…
Nine Amazon Fashion Finds Under $25…
Striped Green Cotton Tank Dress– I guess I am starting my post off with a bang because this is a top favorite for sure! So much so that I wore it Friday night and Saturday! LOL! It is a great material weight and seems very well made. It fits very true to size and is very flattering! I love the length too. I am 5’7 and it is not super short which I love! I honestly like it so much I am thinking about getting it in the Striped Red version too for UGA games!
Dress (TTS) / Ballet Flats (TTS)
Printed Sheath Pencil Dress– Overall I LOVE this dress! The fit is perfect and it is very very flattering. Once again I love the length and the fact that it is flattering without being too revealing. The print is super cute and it’s available in lots of other cute prints too! I ordered a size medium and it fits great so I would definitely suggest sizing up. The ONLY thing I don’t like about it is that the material is a little thin and it’s a slight bit see though. Given the price though it’s worth purchasing a slip. I purchased a very similar dress last year for over $100 and I honestly like this one just as much!
Tie-Front Swing Midi Dress– Totally bummed about this dress! It is totally one of those times that I wish I had a WAY smaller chest. It is soooo cute but I could not wear it in public except maybe to the beach with a bikini under it or something. You have to be able to either not wear a bra with it or wear those squishy cup things. Ha! I had to knot the ties first and then tie a bow to keep it from loosening up a lot. But honestly, if you can pull it off up top, it is SO CUTE! Mine is a size small and it fit great everywhere except the chest. Let’s just say that I was about to have a “Janet Jackson moment”.
Peplum Peasant Top– This top checks off all of the boxes! Cute… Fits Great… Flattering… NOT See-Through…Runs True to Size. I think that’s about it! Loved it!
Top (TTS) / Jeans (Size Down!)
Casual Button-Up Tunic– Definitely cozy and cute! Overall I really liked this one. In fact, I am wearing it right now! I do think I could have sized down and mine is a small. It runs a tad big but that can also be just the style of it too. I see now that it is called a tunic which makes way more sense about the fit! It is very very long so it really either needs to be tucked like I have it done here or worn with leggings.
Top (Runs a Tad Big) / Jeans (Size Down!) / Booties (TTS)
Round Neck Pocket Top– Can I just LIVE in this top?!? Seriously though! It is one of those tops that you will always want to grab out of your closet. It’s a great fit and a GREAT material. Almost like a really thick jersey material. I love that it can be dressed up or down too. It runs true to size. A definite must have!
Top (TTS) / Jeans (Size Down!) / Leopard Flats (I Sized Down a Half Size)
Floral Print Swing Midi Dress– I think I had waaaay higher hopes for this dress than reality. Boo!!! It honestly is really cute and cozy but maybe not the most flattering in the world. The fit is a little off and the waist section doesn’t cinch enough or something. I can see myself wearing this as a cover-up or maybe around the house but I am not sure I would wear it a ton. I think MAYBE if I had sized down it would be better but overall I would give this dress a C!
Dress / Ballet Flats (TTS)
Striped Slit Maxi Skirt– This skirt is quite the opposite of the last review! I wasn’t sure I would love this skirt but I do! It’s very comfortable and it has a nice, stretchy waistband. It is a little “baggy” but it looks cute with a super fitted top. I love THIS ONE that I recently purchased and now I wear it a ton! I would say that the skirt runs pretty true to size. Mine is a size small. The only tiniest thing that I didn’t love about it was that it is very wrinkly and takes a while to iron. And yes, it’s a must iron for sure!
Top (TTS but very tight) / Skirt (TTS) / Pumps (TTS)
Fishtail Pencil Skirt– Saved the best for last! You guys… I STILL swear there was a typo on this one! This is no lie one of my favorite skirts I have EVER purchased and it was $10.99. Ten dollars. Well eleven dollars. Still! It is SUCH a great fit, SUCH a great quality fabric and SOOOO CUTE! I am obsessed. And once again, I think wearing a more fitted top looks best and it is very true to size. Now go buy it! 😉
Top (TTS but very tight) / Skirt (TTS) / Pumps (TTS)
