OMG… OMG… OMG… I am in LOVEEEEEEEEE! As you may know by now if you have followed me for a bit or have looked into the source of either of my AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL personal home sectionals… the pink Remy sectional in the girl’s playroom and the navy Pia sectional in our family room…

So needless to say, when it came time to select, design and order a sectional for the cabin, I knew exactly where I was looking first. I said “design” because this go around I had a crazy fun configuration in mind. I was inspired by the emerald green sectional in Ashton & Mila Kutcher’s new home and was set on a similar look for our cabin. I loved the idea of having a rich (in color and texture), substantial, show stopper of a piece in the main part of the home. You can see it from the moment you walk into the front door and from every vantage point on the main level.
For this design, I chose Jonathan Louis Furniture’s new Elara Collection in Royale Evergreen fabric. And since every JL piece is made to order, I was able to select the perfect fabric (out of their hundreds to choose from!) and six different pieces that all work together to create my ultimate vision. The Elara Collection is an oversized lounge style with clean lines that is also comfy, cozy and casual. And can we say comfy and cozy one more time! It’s soooo deep too! It feels like it completely envelops us when we snuggle up to watch tv. It also has loose backs, Gel Plush seating and included customizable Pluma Plush pillows in your choice of fabrics.
Last week John and I received delivery of the six pieces I selected from the Elara Collection in Royale Evergreen and as I started this blog post… OMG… OMG… OMG… I am in LOVEEEEEEEEE! It is everything I wanted and then some. I am not going to lie, I was a bit nervous about it. Between the bold color and the grand size of it all but it is PERFECT! The risk was well worth the reward which is how I feel it usually goes with my design style. You’ve got to take the risk to make it WOW!
